Band of Brothers S01E01.sddvd

ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Don't believe they have gotten around to TV section yet

I have used Media Info Plus before but its limited when your trying to edit media tag info. Any suggestings that would work for the newer versions of Aeon, Alaska, Confluence, etc??

TVRename works well for TV shows. It does have the ability to write XBMC specific files. But it doesn't get as much info as XBMC it self gets currently.

What I do is use TVRename to get my show properly named, then just use XBMC to scrap the info. Then export the library to separate files. Works well.

How are you getting your TV shows in the first place? I use SABnzbd+ to download from newsgroups. It also handles the renaming of the files, and extracts them in the correct showname\season folder.

After it's finished it automatically runs the Media Info Plus command line tool to pull the nfo info from TVDB - this just creates the nfo file.

Then when I launch XBMC (or by doing an update) the new shows are added.

It's pretty much automatic from start to finish. Don't know if you can do this with torrents or not.

While I have not experimented much with automating my TV Show downloading and tagging with torrents, I know it it possible to run a specific command after a torrent completes, meaning it is likely that you can automate the renaming and tagging process.

It looks good, some issues, dealing with files that have the same imdb id, like "Superman" and "Superman - Directors Cut", it likes to create an .info file instead of an .nfo file.

Also, I have an .nfo file for all my media, it's got the imdb id already, I just need to "Re-scrap IMDB" all of them and update the missing actor and various info, it would be nice to not have to do ALL my updates one at a time and by hand. It just took 45 minutes to "rescrap" 60 of them with "Ctrl-I" then click "Ok" then select the next one, and so on. repeat * 60

Might be a good idea to create a "Lock IMDB ID" setting, so it can't screw my 3 days worth of verifying that the imdb ids are perfect and correct.

Great program, I'll just have to wait until there is an automated "Re-scrape IMDB" feature. It would take me a week to use it without. Still really good!

http://www.mediafire.com/file/nimvmmijumo/Ember Media Manager.exe

That's rev1060 of the main .exe. I have basically no experience compiling VB.Net so please let me know if there are any problems. Note that this .exe is completely identical to the source on http://embermediamanager.googlecode.com

Also, this is the x86/32 bit version. I don't know how to compile for 64-bit systems, nor do I run on one.

Thanks, the new sets info works great...

Guys, may I ask you some more patience? The fix for the set manager was not released yet, becuase it's not in final stage yet.

If you have the skills to compile, then your feedback is welcome on interim revisions here, but please stop asking for unofficial releases in this thread!
Even if slowly, but Ember is back on development track. Resources are highly limited at the moment! Any real development help still would be highly appreciated.

Forget TV section for the moment! I see no chance for this in the short term.
Stop whining about that.

@NasaGeek
Although it is a bit hard, I try to be nice with you. Please stop sharing unofficial releases here! There are a few people who are working on to keep Ember alive at the same quality as before. I can't beleive you really think you are the one with only 7 posts, who has to fulfil the role of The Saviour here.

I apologize; I was unaware of your stance on the distribution of SVN builds. I will refrain from posting unstable builds in the future.

I for one am 100% content with development continuing and everyone being patient for TV. There is absolutely no rush for TV, lets just support the authors, to see thing thing through, well-built!

@bramblepants - I didn't think SABnzbd+ did true TV episode renaming (eg - download the episode name and rename with template), do you have this working? If so, does it also go out and get the .srt (subtitle file) for you? That would be amazing.

Right now I use a combination of NewsLeecher, NZBDownloader, TVRenamer (tvrenamer.com), and SubDownloader2. That's a lot of software to do what I think you're suggesting SABnzbd+ does alone!

Hi everyone.

I just found out about that software and i must say it s a really good software!!
The reason i fell upon this software is because i am looking for a software that would monitor a directory. When it sees a new file in taht dir it would identify it, scrape media and then move the file(while renaming it) to a final directory.
Before i used to do that with meedios but it is not very practical and the plugin i used doesnt seem to be supported anymore.
EMBERMM has almost all of that from what i see. So my question is can you actually have a monitored directory in EMBERMM and move files somewhere else?

Thanks for that great software

I do not believe EMM supports moving files throughout your system. The only form of file manipulation besides renaming that I have found is sorting movies into their own folders based on file name.
