Removed it to simplify the code, and there's an alternative home layout I'm thinking of adding. I didn't use the featured layout. As I've said from the beginning, this is just my personal mod so it may not satisfy most users. I recommend using the original skin if you want all of the options, Jurial Munkey has already started updating it for Jarvis.

Hi Braz, to bad that you decided to remove the featured/spotlight function. I liked the changing movie (fanart) pictures. I understand that it is your personal flavour and you decide what to do with it.

I'v tried going back to the original Arctic Zephyr, but I like your skin better....

Is it possible to explain how to add it to your skin? For people who like to use the featured/spotlight function with your skin?

Reverse the changes in this commit to bring back the featured layout.

I looked at the 1st page, but still not sure how this mod is installed? Anybody care to explain?

Click the source link and download the zip file from github. Install via Kodi's addon manager. Make sure you have the required scripts installed. Check Skin settings > Scripts to verify.

RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - Isgak_Abrahams - 2015-11-23

Is that the 3rd link on the 1st page Braz?

RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - braz - 2015-11-23

Yeah, the one that says "source"

Hi Braz, I've never used Github. But below is what I see. Can you advise where to go for the zip?

Is this the incorrect place? Or which part do I go into, to find the actual zip file to download?

Thanks in advance

RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - braz - 2015-11-23

Click the button to view the desktop site, not mobile. Then you'll see the zip download link.

I'm sure you could simply unpack it and move the folder to your addons folder.
Does one have to unzip the folder and add to addons? If dependencies are not met? Or does one just drag the zip file into addons? Then install from zip?

Braz?

RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - Isgak_Abrahams - 2015-11-23

Braz can you please assist? Which dependencies does one need to install or add? Or what happens after I unzip the file and it to the addons? Where to from there. Please note I'm a noob at this, so please be a little patient Smile

RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - braz - 2015-11-23

You can manually unzip in your addons folder. Just make sure the dependencies listed in addon.xml are installed. I'm on my phone, so can't give detailed instructions at the moment.

RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - braz - 2015-11-23

Look at the "required" tags in the skin's addon.xml.

I'm looking at that now, but I have no idea what all those things mean. As said I'm a complete noob with these things. Sad maybe I should just give up

RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - braz - 2015-11-23

You can try manually extracting the skin in your addons folder and switching to it. Then go to Skin Settings > Scripts to see which scripts need to be installed. Make sure you are running Kodi 16 Jarvis.
