RE: Kodi from Debian - Support Thread - basilgello - 2024-09-28 Setting up Trixie is better because it is backed by whole Debian ecosystem: you get newest library updates (though pure security updates might have 1-3 day delays compared to stable), friendly community and estabilished bug tracking process. Flatpak on the other side fetches separate Ubuntu runtime that is very rarely updated as a whole. I have been using testing since 2019 (when testing was bullseye) and my money is where my mouth is |
