Hmm, weird:

When I scrap them, I see a checkmark show up in the nfo box... but then it dissappears! :O

That happens to me sometimes with DVDs arranged in a VIDEO_TS structure.
2 suggestions:

1. Try just right-clicking and selecting the reload option, that usually fixes it for me
2. Make sure the movies aren't locked, which would prevent any changes to their nfo files

Fantastic work. I thing it's the best scrapper I ever used. Nice and clean interface and above all fast.
Thanks

HI,

I have two movies, both with SRT subtitles identified on Ember.

I then go to XBMC and it only reades thE SRT file for one the movies.

any reason for this? what should i do?

I am having trouble with scraping files using EMM. When I scrape one of my shares, it doesnt download the full amount of images I would expect,

For example here is the contents of one directory, with this I am missing various images within XBMC Aeon -

Airplane.ISO
Airplane.nfo
Airplane.tbh
Airplane-Fanart.jpg
Movie.nfo

Whilst on another share, a fully working folder has the following files within it -
Alien.mkv
Alien.jpg
Alien.nfo
Alien.tbn
Alien-fanart.jpg
fanart.jpg
folder.jpg
movie.jpg
movie.nfo
poster.jpg
poster.tbn

If I rightclick and choose Rescrape IMDB, then it populates the rest of the files as in above. However If I choose to Scrape Movies > All Movies it makes no additions whatsoever. Im sure this is something Im not doing, as it works, but only when I select each film manally.

I had this issue as well, it has to do with reloading vs. refreshing in EMM.

Firstly, make sure in Settings..>Movies>Files and Sources you are downloading movie.tbn and poster.tbn since these are what XBMC uses. The rest are pretty much all 'extra'.

Next, open windows explorer and choose to show hidden files (in Vista/7 click Organize>Folder and search options>View tab>Show hidden files, folders, and drives).

Go into the folders of those movies missing relevant covers etc. in XBMC. Delete all files except the movie file/subtitles.

Reopen EMM, click Tools>Reload All Movies

Then Scrape Media>Movies Missing Items>Ask>All Items

You should now be good to go.

YES! I think youve nailed it Smile

I had just started to go through the movie folders one by one rescraping them individually, truly painful and I only got down to letter 'D' Tongue

Thanks a million!

When you have a stacked DVD and you choose that in library, it will ask you that which part you want to play. OR you really want to have different item for DVD extras?

Doesn't seem to work that way for me - it just plays the first DVD. I'll do some more playing with it over the weekend. If it behaves as you describe that would certainly solve my problem.

Thanks

update question - jondr13 - 2009-12-19

I know this has been asked, talked about and requested already for EMM, but when can we expect to see TV Show support.....soon?....long way off? Sorry for asking but I have tried several others to do my TV shows and honestly nothing compairs to the ease of use of EMM.

Thanks for any info you can provide

It's not going to happen for a while. The devs are still trying to work out any kinks in the Movie aspect and make it as feature-filled as possible before moving on to other categories of media. However, rest-assured that Olympia (the project manager) is well-aware for the demand for TV Show support, and I am sure he will inform us of any important updates.

Cool, thanks again for the update and info

Is there a way to up date just the meta data without having to re-scrape the entire movie?

I didn't really feel like explaining it...

Well, I forgot to mention that this new feature (I mean stacking like I mentioned for ISOs) has been introduced somewhere between Babylon and Camelot. So if you are still using Babylon final, than you are missing that type of stacking.
