RE: After Watch - Haris1977 - 2019-02-12

No i am not running Kodi on windows. I only use libreelec on my raspi 3 (as a client).

My server is a win 7 machine running hanewin nfs server app.

Just to confirm, version 1.0.7 fixes both the error message in movie.py line 204 and the issue with the remote path on nfs. Thank you!

RE: After Watch - AnonTester - 2019-02-13

Just found a different issue, afterwatch exists with an error popup when it cannot get the player status for some reason. It shouldn't fail with an error popup, but just log the issue and move on. Logs: https://paste.kodi.tv/ojosibicul.kodi

In this instance, the youtube plugin tried to access the inputstream adaptive plugin that was updated this morning, but I didn't restart kodi yet. Youtube exited as it couldn't create the stream. At the point your plugin checked the player info, there was nothing to find anymore.

RE: After Watch - lovemyram4x4 - 2019-02-13

1.0.6 doesn't update library but it also doesn't delete anything.

1.0.7 deletes files and doesn't update library so I'm happy with after watch on Kodi 18, now if I can just get my skin helper scripts and my PVR client from crashing Kodi.

Thanks for the quick updates to get us going again with after watch.

I was wonder if you could possibly add some PVR specific (hdhomerun DVR) support into after watch? It supports delete and re-record, just deleting actually works out the same as choosing re-record so if an episodes re-airs it records again. Both delete options are implemented in the PVR add on (I can give you link if needed and you'd like to take a look at it). I prefer to watch my TV shows from the TV shows library over the PVR library because the PVR library doesn't support the view I like to use and on the views it does support it doesn't support a lot other add on or my art work, it also doesn't delete all the other files (EDL, NFO, Jpef, etc) like after watch does, plus having a pop up after the show is nicer. If you're willing to add support for this I was thinking in stead of having a pop up window with delete yes or no, it could just have delete and re-record since hitting back would do the same as no, that way it could just use the same window but change the text if HDhomerun was activated in settings.

Thanks, this helps. It indeed doesn't detect any files left (no file named after =), but it does count one. I need to figure out if this has to do with using nfs:// (and/or smb://) paths, or something Windows related. I assume you're running Kodi also on Windows, correct? Not just the file server.

Edit: Hmm guess that's not the case, seems like you're using LibreELEC looking at the reported version in your log. Will need to setup a similar setup here and test it with nfs:// paths. Guess that call will just always return an empty item, regardless whether any files are left. To be continued  Cool

Edit 2: I've just tested it on LibreELEC with a test library located at nfs://, just like your setup, with only 1 set of files in it (mkv, jpg etc named the same). This does work as expected here, removes the empty directory and reports 0 left over files. So it seems specific to your setup since it reports 1 file  left over, it's just really unclear to me why that would be. Maybe the used NFS server (mine is just standard Linux, yours is kind a 'exotic' Wink ) does report something different back to the client, which Kodi stores as an empty file name. So I don't think there is much I can do at this point, unless we know why that empty file name is reported back (that would require packet inspection with something like Wireshark, but it's not worth the effort if you're not familiar with it).
It 's ok no problem with it. Truth is that my windows nfs app is rather old (i haven't updated to last version for a long time now cause it needs a license) so..maybe this has been fixed with latest releases.

Besides i can use the built in kodi delete function to "delete" my remaining folder. Thanks for your effort Smile

RE: After Watch - Haris1977 - 2019-02-19

It seems that this add-on can not auto-delete a specific *.mp4 file that i have (i get no notification at all).

The file is uploaded here (if y want to take a look at it):

I've checked it out, no problems here on a local path. Maybe some other add-on is preventing it to finish properly, you could try it again after restarting Kodi. If the issue remain, please post a debug log.

Oups..I see there is a new update (1.0.8). This one fixes all of my problems ! Music  Now i get the "pop-up" notification to delete my file (mentioned in post #276) as long as the last empty remaining folder!

I do not know what you have done here but it works (at least in my LE 9.0.0 version on my raspi3)

RE: After Watch - AnonTester - 2019-02-23

I tested the move function and it failed to create the destination folder.

Lines 231 and 238 of movie.py as well as Lines 175 and 182 of episode.py still contain xbmc.validatePath function calls resulting in the move functions trying to create a folder at the root of a remote server rather than the actual destination folder defined in the settings.
Version 1.0.8 of AfterWatch plugin.

Also, just as a suggestion for improvement:
When delete as well as move are selected in settings, could you combine the dialogue? At the moment it's asking for confirmation to delete the video and if selecting 'no', it's then asking whether the video should be moved. A single dialogue with options to delete or move defaulting to cancel would be more efficient.

RE: After Watch - lovemyram4x4 - 2019-03-09

After Watch has been inconstant on working. I've noticed some shows it won't ever ask to delete, some episodes for a show may not but the rest will, an episode may take a few tries(doesn't ask after first finishing, skipping thru 1 or 2 more times it does) before it ask, some shows will ask to delete-dialog will say it's done but nothing deleted (the last show I noticed it do this on I had 3 episodes I had after watch delete and it deleted nothing for 2 and just the video file for 1) and most of the time it does as it should.

RE: After Watch - lovemyram4x4 - 2019-03-14

I think I figured out what's causing the issue, not sure why some shows it still worked but as of recently pretty much non have. It seems like when Kodi does refresh rate change it often causes after watch to not kick in (turning off pause on switch didn't help). I first tried setting Kodi 1080 29hz to match most of the shows we've watch over the past several days that didn't ask to delete (only 2 ask) and all them asked on the first try. I then tried one of the 720 59hz but as expected still nothing so I then changed the refresh change setting to on start only and the 720 59hz show work but it took 2 tries, then tried another 1080 29hz show and it took 2 tries.

So it seems like every time it does a refresh change, even if it's at the start of the show after watch will not ask me if I want to delete show.

RE: After Watch - Haris1977 - 2019-05-23

Greetings

I've noticed some TV shows it won't ever ask to delete. I have uploaded such a file here (i 've uploaded only a portion of the file):

https://www51.zippyshare.com/v/Vg0q86Du/file.html

@jvandenbroek can you please check that out? Is after watch working with this file?

RE: After Watch - AnonTester - 2019-06-23

Kodi 19 deprecated old strings.xml language resource files which broke AfterWatch completely. I converted the language resources to the .po format, fixed the issue with the alternative move function and bumped the version to 1.0.9.

You can install it from my repository https://github.com/AnonTester/kodi-repo/raw/master/repository.anontester/repository.anontester-1.0.0.zip or get it from https://github.com/AnonTester/kodi-repo/tree/master/script.service.afterwatch

Εven with this update, still doesn't work for me. It doesn't delete those files.

RE: After Watch - AnonTester - 2019-06-25

@Haris1977 if you provide log files and some details, I can take a look and see if there's anything I can figure out.
