Happy to report that the OSMC update is available and fixes the reboot loop issues! It is available to all OSMC users now, just go and pull down updates manually. Thank you to OSMC and skin devs for working together on this one!
One question for Guardian Hope - is it possible to change the font used in the Big Wall overlay? It is very large and the plot only displays a few words before having to scroll. If I could make it smaller (or a thinner font face) that would help a lot.

Thank you, and welcome to the party train. A few things have become a tradition here. Never trust a .x0 release. There is always a .x1 release that's normally released for one reason or another. I don't think there's ever been a .x0 release that lasted more than a few hours. As the saying goes, "it would never be the Enterprise..." but hopefully .20 will change that tradition.
To answer your question: you can reset the views from a variety of location. Pressing left in a "hub" should bring up the views available as well as options including reloading the skin (if I recall correctly); otherwise you can always find it within the Settings page to reset the skin to default.

As @h4xdaplanet has indicated, OSMC has been updated with the From Ashes fix. Users can now update their devices to the latest OSMC and run Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes.
Finally, to answer your question: yes, it is very much possible and I have indicated that modernizing the fonts is something that is going to take place. However, this will be in "Danvers" (aka Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes Anniversary Edition aka 4.x.x) for Krypton. The Summer 2016 Update of Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes brings a lot of changes to both Jarvis and Krypton but after the Summer 2016 update, development is shifting solely to Krypton.
Why Hasn't the Summer 2016 Update Been Released Yet?
You might not know this but I've been going back and forth to the Clinical Decision Unit or CDU to receive heavy doses of IV Broad Spectrum Antibiotics for Pneumonia. I had planned for today to be release day to coincide with the OSMC update but plans change but as we all know: releasing a little late is also a tradition.
It'll be out Soon™.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure what you mean about the .x0 and .x1.
I've removed the skin fully, cleared kodi cache and re-installed but this hasn't made any difference. I'll see if the reset within the skin settings will make a difference.
EDIT...So I've reset everything and still the Low List setting is on by default and won't turn off.
It's weird as when I use the media and extra info views the Low List toggle option remains.

I could not install the 3.2.12 version on Jarvis 16.1 (Windows 10).
The following error ocurred.
09:27:06 T:668 ERROR: CAddonInstallJob[skin.arctic.zephyr.fromashes]: could not read addon description of special://home/addons/skin.arctic.zephyr.fromashes
After some reading in this thread i edited the description of addon.xml and created a new zip file.
Now the installation is working without problems.
Anyone else with this install problem?

I've been getting the same error. T:660 ERROR: CAddonInstallJob[skin.arctic.zephyr.fromashes]: could not read addon description of special://home/addons/skin.arctic.zephyr.fromashes when trying to install on the latest nightly KodiSetup-20160620-e8e6c2a-master. I can't install using the repo or when trying to install the zip skin.arctic.zephyr.fromashes.danvers-4.0.01.
I managed to side load it but then half the options in the settings menu aren't accessible.

I should have said this is on Windows 10 x64.

Hello, I am using this theme the latest update that came out yesterday as well as the latest OSMC.
I am using WinSCP to try and change the genre icons to something else like I used to be able to do in the original Arctic Zephyr theme, But I am unable too. And what's strange is when I installed the theme I had these weird looking images there in place.
I went to the extra/genreicons in Arctic Zephyr and they're completely different genre icons that I would probably have kept myself.
Somehow the theme is taking icons from elsewhere and I can't find the icons at all anywhere. Please help me change the genre icons!
The main reasons is because Forign and TV Movie doesn't have a picture at all on whatever icons the theme is accessing.

FIXED! It was using the Textures.xbt I just edited that for colouredicons pack I had installed some how and its working.
I want to know something else though, And I can't seem to figure it out.
I added images for my genre view that don't go well with the 3 views showing in genres.
How can I add other views? Maybe Big Wide or something? So I have more than the basic 3 views in genre's choice.

Cannot install this at all. Windows 10 and later krypton night. Tried installing via repo, gets to 60% then message saying this skin has failed to install. If it install from zip after download git hub versions nothing happens. I've even unzipped it and moved it manually into the right addons folder, it then shows up in the skin menu but won't change the look at all. Driving me mad as I've never had such a problem with installing this or any other skin in the past. Only thing I can thing to do is to do a fresh install then try again but I've got everything setup how I like using titan skin and don't really want to loose it all

Just switched to SPMC and this skin from Kodi and the original Arctic skin; has the slideshow option been removed?
A lot of fan art is crap and I really just want to show only my pictures.
Also is there a site that explains/details the settings and features of this skin?

this skin is still not ready for Krypton.
please read the post starting from a few pages back. the owner had some trouble, and was not able to push the updates.

I love this skin. One question: is there a setting I'm missing somewhere to enable those green check marks next to TV shows watched? I can't seem to find it. Also switching views to extra info doesn't seem to work for me, it just defaults back to "list".

Still not ready to release yet due to extenuating personal circumstances. A quick FAQ for the questions asked so far:
Q: Is there a site that explains all the features of the skin?
A: Currently being developed as we speak and should be ready shortly after the Summer 2016 Update.
Q: Slideshow?
A: A lot of the fan art is pretty good depending on where you are scraping it from and what your settings are (I've only ever used MediaBrowser/Emby- I don't know what type of quality generic Kodi has) but I believe the setting is in there somewhere.
Q: 4.0.01 is not working on Krypton?
A: That's correct. It will be the Summer 2016 Update that introduced compatibility with Krypton but don't expect it to be working perfect.
Q: Can't Install on Windows 10 Unless I Re-Zip the file?
A: Yeah, I don't know about that one. I'll have to get back to you.
Q: Other Weird Glitches are occurring?
A: Just wait until the Summer 2016 Update.
Q: Miscellaneous Items [You] Didn't Cover?
A: I'll cover them when I'm feeling up to it. Extenuating circumstances and all of that.

It's not just poor quality and inappropriate (I have kids and fan art from a horror or violate movie isn't something they need to see) fan art, it's also the delay in displaying. When I open SPMC the background is black for up to 10 seconds and often when I return to the home screen. I thought Kodi stored/cached art in the local database, but maybe I'm wrong.
The ability to set my own local/smb folder with pictures is a feature I really miss.
Another issue, I had to dig way to too deep into add-ons to disable "up next", can a toggle be added to the skin settings?
Apart from missing the personal slideshow feature of the original skin, this is by far the best skin and many thanks for bringing it back to life!!
