Have you enabled L1 secure device in the addon settings?I have the NVIDIA Shield TV, I believe it is an L1 Secure device... but not sure how to check that. I don't see anything labeled L1 Secure device in the addon settings, and I have the quality set to autoplay the best, but even when I turn that to list, I'm not sure which ones is HD, but I don't see anything that explicitly states HD. RE: HBO Max - matthuisman - 2021-08-09 since my latest updates, it automatically detects L1 device. Shield is L1 so you will get the full qualities. Make sure you have H265 enabled in the add-on settings. The quality select shows resolution and bandwidth. HD is just a "generic label" for content above a certain quality. you can read about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-definition_video But don't get "hung up" on labels. If the picture looks good - don't worry about! RE: HBO Max - matthuisman - 2021-08-10 just pushed 0.4.7 --
So there is no need to enable Widevine Secure device in the settings anymore. It will automatically know what widevine level your device is RE: HBO Max - linscabral - 2021-08-14 hello trying to install repository and source giving error with message unable to share or no communication RE: HBO Max - matthuisman - 2021-08-15 (2021-08-14, 14:33)linscabral Wrote: hello trying to install repository and source giving error with message unable to share or no communicationrepo is here: https://k.slyguy.xyz/repository.slyguy.zip If you can't download that, I suspect your ISP is blocking it if thats the case, you'll need to login to your isp and turn off whatever filtering service they have RE: HBO Max - linscabral - 2021-08-15 (2021-08-15, 01:02)matthuisman Wrote:(2021-08-14, 14:33)linscabral Wrote: hello trying to install repository and source giving error with message unable to share or no communicationrepo is here: https://k.slyguy.xyz/repository.slyguy.zip thanks, it worked via zip RE: HBO Max - jgoodwi3232 - 2021-09-09 I’m running into an error when I try to navigate around the add-on. Yesterday, I was able to watch shows. However, today I’m running into an unexpected error when I try to even view content under series or movies: keyerror-express content. I update to the latest Slyguy common package and I’m still running into this error. RE: HBO Max - matthuisman - 2021-09-09 debug log please. you in USA? actually, don;t worry i can get the same error Ill look into it they must have made some changes RE: HBO Max - jgoodwi3232 - 2021-09-09 (2021-09-09, 05:45)matthuisman Wrote: debug log please. Thank you!! I tried reinstalling it and I’m now getting a server error: it’s time to update your HBO max app to the get the latest features message when I try to log in. I suspect that it’s related to this issue but still wanted to pass that along just in case RE: HBO Max - matthuisman - 2021-09-09 just pushed 0.5.2 that should sort it. how to force update: https://www.matthuisman.nz/2021/07/force-update-slyguy-add-ons.html RE: HBO Max - jgoodwi3232 - 2021-09-09 (2021-09-09, 06:20)matthuisman Wrote: just pushed 0.5.2 that should sort it. Works great! Thank you!! RE: HBO Max - ichala - 2021-09-18 Hi. Since the last update I'm not getting the subtittles. I tried all languages and nothing is displayed. Uninstalled, reinstalled and nothing seems to works. All the video and audio options are working fine, but the subtitles are not showing anymore. I'm adding the full debug log down here. https://paste.kodi.tv/inakegihac.kodi Thanks. RE: HBO Max - matthuisman - 2021-09-18 Hbo changed to embedded subs which don't seem supported by inputstream adaptive. I'll need to see if there is a workaround You can follow progress here https://github.com/matthuisman/slyguy.addons/issues/68 RE: HBO Max - QianyuLi - 2021-09-22 (2021-09-18, 20:11)matthuisman Wrote: Hbo changed to embedded subs which don't seem supported by inputstream adaptive. I'll need to see if there is a workaroundIgnore Subtitles feature is also broken. This causes external subtitles to not work properly either. RE: HBO Max - matthuisman - 2021-09-22 ignore subtitles hasn't been touched... Its just that now they are embeded by HBO in the manifest. That setting stopped them being added, but now they are already included. so maybe the internal broken subs are overwriting your external subs? Kodi should still show both (internal and external) I'll see if I can get the proxy to remove the embedded subs from the manifest. UPDATE: Just pushed 0.5.6 This replaces the ignore subs setting with a "Subtitle Whitelist" setting (same as Disney+) This is a comma separated list of languages of subtitles you want to keep. eg. en,de If you want none, then just set it to something that won't match any languages. eg. none The proxy then will strip out the embedded subtitle tracks that don't match (all) |
