RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - Dumyat - 2019-03-10 @primaeval Been some time since I've used your addon, so probably many new features have been added since I last did. One thing I was curious to know is if the addon now supports Kodi playlists? I couldn't see anything on the first page. Let's say for example, I wanted to create a channel for 'Action Movies' based on that movie genre in my Kodi library, is this possible to do? From what I remember, probably not. As I re-call the addon is driven principally by the xmtv.xml and then pairing a video source with the associated channel on the guide. I wasn't sure if things had changed since I last used the addon and channel creation was now also possible? If not, is it something you've ever thought of adding? I have a good line up of FTA channels, but the number of dedicated movie channels are a bit sparse I must admit, so wanted to know if it was possible to create my own using my local Kodi library. There is a way to play a channel of programs with Meta4Kodi so it acts as a pseudo-channel but I suspect you want Pseudo TV Live. https://forum.kodi.tv/forumdisplay.php?fid=231 [EDIT] If you just want a playlist of unwatched programs you can go a long way with Kodi smart playlists. I used to set some up for the kids when they were younger to get a selection of random or unwatched episodes and movies. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - HiJacK - 2019-03-11 @primaeval I'm able to set up the EGP with the default setup and the TV Guide displays fine. The issue is when I try to input my m3u info. Here's what I did:

Did you try to do a "Settings \ Source \ Reset on Start" once to clear out the old data? You could try deleting the addon_data folder. userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen If all that fails pm me your m3u and xmltv links and I'll see if I can spot the problem. I uninstalled everything and removed everything from the folder (userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen). Now, I can't get the EPG to load, even without the m3u. I get an error in Kodi saying "Oops, sorry about that! It was not possible to load program data, check settings or try again later...". This is strange because I did exactly the same steps I did on my initial install when I didn't get that error and was able to load the EPG. I cleared out all my cache and rebooted my box and still getting the same error.(2019-03-11, 05:22)HiJacK Wrote: You are doing it the right way.Is there an error message in kodi.log? I'll PM you my log files, along with my m3u and xmltv links. This is strange because everything works fine in the PVR IPTV Simple Client, Playlist Loader, and Perfect Player. I hope you figure it out because I like your program. It's similar to Perfect Player. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - primaeval - 2019-03-12 version 0.17.430 I've added a few changes to the database format to handle someone's crappy xmltv files but it might break something else. I'm looking at new code in lines 4840 to 4844 in gui.py. Could that be the cuprit, or do I need to change something new in settings? Does it still happen if you delete or rename the addon_data folder and start again? userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen If it does tell me which kodi version and regional settings you are using. There are two places where "Don't Remind" gets set and I can't spot where they could go wrong. https://github.com/primaeval/script.tvguide.fullscreen/blob/46409221cd03f5631b2cd8e1ff0b1e0869c742b9/gui.py#L1064 https://github.com/primaeval/script.tvguide.fullscreen/blob/46409221cd03f5631b2cd8e1ff0b1e0869c742b9/gui.py#L4833 RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - JQZ* - 2019-03-19 (2019-03-18, 21:42)primaeval Wrote:It works fine with a fresh data folder with just the original settings.xml file copied into it. So I exported custom_stream_url.csv and notifications.csv in sqlite from my original source.db, deleted the newly created source.db and let TVGF load a fresh one. With that there was still no menu problem. Then in sqlite, dropped custom_stream_url.csv and imported the backed up copy. Still no problem with Remind / Don't Remind menus. Then dropped notifications.csv and imported the backup and the problem was back. Don't know if that's of any help.
