did any one get it to work.

Basic problem is it will not connect to the internet.
It says its scrapping and cannot find the site to scrap too. read my previous post.

thanks
I have it running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit....no problems.

So what do you think is the problem then. it seems that it is no hooking up to the imdb database. we have a cisco business style router.

We have open the firewall in windows 7 to except in/out of ember.exe

any ideas?

Hutch Wrote:What are the subtitles named? I'd delete the .nfo for both movies in windows explorer, reload both movies in EMM (right click>reload) then rescrape.

i still didn't do this, should i ?

It recognizes correctly the movie, and it recognizes the subtitles ARE there, but when i play it the subtitles won't appear...

any guess?

This is nothing to do with Ember!!! Most probably your subtitle file is wrong. Ember only checks for the extensions, it is not analyzing if its content is OK.

For renaming files, does anyone know if it can add the language of subtitles or that it has subtitles. I know it can add source resolution and audio etc

One question, how can i set the video source (dvd, bd, etc.) manually. EMM not recognize automatically when i run metadata scraper cause the files most not have a tag like dvdrip. I tried to edit the metadata manually but i cant find the information for the source.

Best thing would be if its possible to do it for my whole libary in once. Thanks for any help or tips!

Just FYI, I am developing on Win7 x64, so that's not a problem. lol Is an error log created? I'm guessing it must be a firewall issue if you can't download addons either.

Renaming the files is the only way to indicate the source. This is a skin hack and is not officially supported by XBMC.

And yes, for everyone not following the SVN, I'm back. While I'm still not 100%, I feel a lot better (physically and mentally). I won't be able to dedicate as much time to Ember as I did in the past, but I'll put a few hours in a week at least. Thank you to everyone who has kept Ember alive over the past months, especially Olympia and RogueDazza.... hope you guys stick around!

Also, if anyone has any server space they could donate we sure could use it. Embermm.com is back up, but is running off an older machine that is already producing heavy traffic, so it's extremely slow. We only need like 100 mb of space, and 1 MySQL db. Please let us know! Oh, and more devs, graphic artists, web developers, etc are ALWAYS needed!
