Sadly there is no workaround. Just rename your movie title without dots.
The string compares .es. So no other way at the moment. Keep in mind this was only integrated because of requests, i'm not really happy, but till xbmc will support multilanguage support you all have to live with it or disable in skin settings.

Only very old operating systems fail to handle "Spaces". I Fail to see the need for them in today's home computing. The only reason I can see for that sort of file naming is for web servers to serve up files over http. And even then it is better to use "Under score _ " or "Hyphen - ".

You have New Media Flags enabled in general skin settings, just disable it.

I didn't know there're Operating systems not accepting a plain text as file name. If this is the case, i find it difficult to handle (u can't call this a bug though), other than renaming the files. Or... changing to other OS.... lol (of course this is a joke).
All solutions i can think about go through changing ur nomenclature (for example, just make the skin only looks for .es .en etc... after a symbol [ ) but this would mean anyway that u must rename the filenames.

Hi butchabay. Great skin I love it.
Showing a language flag is very cool, but I wondered if you could add an option to make it symbolize the subtitle language instead of the audio language for users who prefer that.
I have only one audio-language in my files but I use 4 different subtitle languages so showing what subtitle I have is more useful than confirming what audio language it is.
I'am sure I can achieve this by renaming the movie files according to what subtitle I have but it would have been better if the skin could get the info from an external .srt file or something like that(all my movies have external .srt files with the two-letter-combo at the end telling what language it is)
Is this possible?

I dont have spanish movies so i can just delete "es". I have the ending "eng" for english but its not working at the moment for english.

I try the video option for background on home ,I select one of my video but I see just my fanart on home not the video...did they have to be a certain extension? (avi,mp4...)

i have changed it to all movies get the german flag. Only the movies with .eng. in file name get the english flag. So i dont need to change any movie titels. i dont have other languages so its perfekt for my usecase
Hope butch will integrate the flags to all views and not only to the movie info.

a big thank you for this great skin.
I thought after using it for quite a while, I add some suggestions:
1. I use the RightlistLogo for TV-Shows, and find it sometimes really hard to read the Logos, any chance to have an option to darken it a litle bit? The example I use for the mockup is one of the better readables, others really look messy - depending on the fanart.
2. I like the CleartArt in the corner, can I increase its size somehow? Which file I have to look into for it?
(In the screenshot/mockup, I darkend the RightlistLogo and set the clearart size to 115%)
3. Is it possible to have the episode flagged if it has subtitle? I live in a household where the kids needs subs - which get downloaded automatically. And having a flag would be nice.
4. Maybe a way to change the fanart switching time?
