i have nasa tv to get an image, but its very blurry
this is in my strm file:

dear all,

i really think this web tv function is super cool and trully enhances the multimedia abilities of xbmc.

for those who are intersted here is a little package of tv streams that are operational with xbmc. unfortunately a lot of tv streams found on the web do work properly on pc but tend to hang up xbox. so with this package you should find only working channels.

i do not know how to insert a file in this forum so here is a link to a forum of a cool french web site where you can find the package. the file is called stream tv.rar and is located in a message written by ludo on 19-02-2004, 18:35.

with some of my streams i am not getting any audio. may xbmc doesn't support the audio codec ?? for example the blomberg france feed..

ive been trying to get a radio station stream working as you suggested but when i select the .strm file i want to play it does nothing.
the url that windows media player uses is http://audio.musicradio.com/gold.asx

so i made a .strm file like this:

numberofentries=1
file1=http://audio.musicradio.com/gold.asx
title1=classic gold digital
length1=-1

can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong?

take a look at the bugs.txt. latest cvs seems to have this now Smile

- 21-02-2004 added: gui for changing cachesize settings
- 21-02-2004 added: cachesize settings to settings.xml (still need a gui for it to change values)

it's there now.

open the asx, and extract the url within, use that in the .strm - then let us know if it still doesn't work.
