I have no idea - I've now bought a surround amp with pre-outs so that does all the active bass management so use binary builds of kodi these days. It shouldn't be too difficult to try (I don't believe the output engine has changed much in that area). I'm pretty sure it worked on the codebase from Jan/Feb last year...
