When keyboard is displayed the text is over another text and buttons. See here.

Here the last thing I recognized, you only see it when configuring, so I forgot about it in the past.
The IP adress is under the i symbol in a circle.
I added it here.

Yep, maybe you're right, even if I'm not a big fan of the just "bugfix" releases... anyway if you own / know someone with a mac, you can compile and run by yourself the remote app into your ipad air 2.
