RE: hdhomerun prime - rpcameron - 2016-08-19 Yes. For instance, my main computer running Kodi uses Intel graphics, which means I can use VAAPI hardware acceleration. This is provided by libva. However, libva is a generic library; to actually use the hardware, it needs to know how to address it. Therefore, my distro of choice (Arch) requires that I also install the libva-intel-driver package. RE: hdhomerun prime - janice - 2016-08-20 Ok I'm really sorry. I'm a bit confused on how to figure out if I have the right drivers. Is there a good source for a step by step. I also have Intel graphics. I did use the Intel driver update deal. A bit of a pain because I had to tweak it to work with 16.04. But after all that it still won't play. Like I said this is a bit strange seeing that it used to work fine 6 months ago. |
