@d21spike I just realized that Philo also offers a small handful of free channels as well, if that helps with addon development. I'm not 100% sure if the coding is the same for both the free and paid tiers, but if it is, you might be able to develop the addon without having to pay for a full account.

@d21spike I noticed on your github page that things seem to have been stopped on this for about a month after your first experiments with the login system. Is there anything I can do on my end to help you? I've got a full account and several machines, running both Kodi 18 and 19, and I'm happy to test/try out anything on it.

i have just released my Stremium add-on.
"Get all of your channels in one guide"

This allows you to integrate the below services into Kodi
Locast.org (tested ok)
Philo (tested ok)
Spectrum (tested ok)
FrndlyTV (not tested)
Sling TV (not tested)
Vidgo (tested ok)
It has full support for my IPTV Merge (https://www.matthuisman.nz/2019/02/iptv-merge-kodi-add-on.html)

Stremium has a free tier that lets you add the above providers and also some of their free public streams.
You only need to pay if you want their DVR (recording) functionality which isn't supported by the add-on anyway.
I'll do a release post for the add-on soon.

Matt! You rock! Thank you for this! I've got it mostly working. The EPG doesn't work, and IPTV Merge reports: 'NoneType' object has no attribute '__getitem__'. But the streams themselves run beautifully on every channel I've tried. Great work!

I've dug into it a little more, and I get the same error in the Public folder in the Stremium addon. The error doesn't happen in the Philo folder. I have selected only Philo and not Public in IPTV Merge, but the error still occurs in IPTV Merge's EPG.

"'ascii" issue should be fixed with 0.0.4 (just pushed)

'NoneType' object has no attribute '__getitem__', I couldn't replicate this locally.
I've made a few changes that may fix it... please try 0.0.4
If you still get errors, please provide me a full debug log and also what country you are in.
it'll be a simple fix, i just need a debug log so I can see where its happening
