Please let me know what you discover.... Thank you!
Thanks.
Hmm, it's a tricky one. It looks legit, but I get the impression it's not. They only accept one form of payment-Bitcoin, and there is no copyright or about us page.
But scott967 seems to think they are ok, so lets assume that they are ok for now, until someone confirms otherwise.

How is this integrated into Kodi? Is there an add-on that you can download and install in Kodi? Or are you using an m3u file or something else?
I don't use any of these types of services, so it's not obvious to me how it is accessed, nor will I be the best person to diagnose the issue. The website only mentions a Kodi app for iphone.ipad

I see you playing Dead Shot, but there are no errors that stand out, apart from the ListItem stuff.
But I think the issue here is that you will need to contact Apollo for connection problems. And if you are using a VPN, then we won't be able to assist. See... https://kodi.wiki/view/Official:VPN_policy

Surely if they were legit they'd list what you can actually watch?

RE: Kodi Skin Issue - izprtxqkft - 2023-06-29

seems like no matter how much it is argued, legit or not, this still only happens when using that addon so it would be better to contact that developer

same you would contact matthuisman when having an issue with one of his addons - which are quite legit without question

  1. To the best of my knowledge, it is legit. In my rather extensive research, I did not discover anything alarming or suspicious about them. I’m not interested in piracy. They do accept credit card payments. That’s how I’ve paid for the service over the last couple of years. However, the first payment option you are presented with is bitcoin. You can cycle through the payment options to pay by credit card. At least that’s been my experience.
  2. There are a couple of ways to integrate their service into Kodi. One, they offer a Kodi repository to install their service. Two, you can load their M3U and EPG guide via IPTV Simple, by example, without using their Kodi repository. I downloaded and installed their Kodi repository. When using their Kodi repository its installation adds IPTV Simple and auto populates the M3U/EPG IPTV Simple fields. Yes, they do have two (2) android apps you can download. And, they do work reasonably well. No timeshift or recording tho.
  3. Yes, I randomly selected Dead Shot to test the behavior previously described while in debug mode. And, pressing the ok key does not brig up the video OSD unless the back/return key is pressed first. I did notice the debug file has a few “HandleKey” entries. I’m not an expert in this area but I recall seeing a “HandleKey” that seems to call an incorrect action. Maybe that’s the problem? The problem may also be in one of the XML files being called, such as: VideoOSD.xml, DialogSeekBar.xml or DialogSeekBar.xml? What is all the ListItem stuff?
  4. I do not use a VPN. Although I’m considering using one as I can see my IPS throttling my connection. I’ll test the VPN option at some later point to see if it does help with the trotting issue.

It's hard to tell if it's really legit or not.  But giving benefit of the doubt I looked at log and I recommend installing a vanilla Kodi using just Estuary so you don't have those skin helpers running in the background.  Then it should be a lot easier to determine if the addon is loading the busy dialog or core Kodi.

Thank you for your help! I’ve been trying for quite some time to fix/figure out this issue. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

To clarify are you saying:
  1. I should install a completely new Kodi installation with Estuary as the only skin used?
  2. Or, use the current installation running just the Estuary skin?
I think you mean option one (1) above, but I wanted to make sure before I proceed? If option 1 is correct, do you prefer the new installation to be on a PC or Android platform?

I suggest a fresh install, because your skin installed "services" as required dependencies.  If you feel confident you could just switch to Estuary and disable all those extras, but in a Windows platform you can install Kodi to a folder of your choosing, and using the "-p" portable switch to start Kodi you can selectively install just what's needed for that specific addon and not mess up your existing install of Kodi.

Ok, thank you. I should have time later today or tomorrow to install a fresh copy of Kodi on a PC. I'll then run a debug log and post it...I see Kodi 20.2 is available. Should I install that version or the 20.1 that I’m currently using?
