After 7/3 update, I believe I noticed two issues. "Autocompletion" text entry seems to no longer work. Sometimes it seems like "Dim" screensaver will not wake back to bright screen. Respectfully submitted.

The official Quartz skin has never included support for Autocompletion and never will. At least on my watch. I don't know what you had installed prior to the most recent update, but I don't support mods of this skin.
The screensaver is entirely a function of core kodi. The behavior is what it is irrespective of the skin being used.

In the main menu, the menus from "Music" onwards are dimmed (darker and with less contrast). Is there a way to change this?

Stipulate that this skin is 10+ years old; I have read every post in this sub-forum; yours is a first of its kind complaint. My best guess is this is a combination of a very dark skin and some adaptive backlighting technology - a hypothesis that is easy enough to test.
Go to Settings>Skin>General and set "Background art visibility = 10. Back at the home screen Movie sub menu, navigate up to the media shelf. Does the menu bar brighten along with the background image?

This makes no difference. Just one remark: there is no background image. The background is just black.

Do you have "Hide background art" enabled? The point of the exercise is to apply a bright background image to see if that perks up the display around the dimmer menu categories.

I found out that this problem appears only when I use Kodi with this skin on Chromecast. (I believe, it is version 3). I have another Kodi on my Raspberry (this is quite old, I beliebe Leia), all is well.
The problem with the background image is: There is none. And I can’t add a costum image because I don’t now where to save one which could be used. So I think the best thing is I take it as is. I don’t find another skin I would like to use, so I must live with this issue...
EDIT: I've found a solution: I've set the colour scheme to "Amber light", which has eliminated the problem. It's still present in all the other colour settings, but I find this one to be the best. So, all's well... ;-)

Happy to hear you found a solution. This might also work for @emory5 who was having an issue with the default screensaver.

After much experimentation, this is what I came up with:
This approach plays nicely with EPG genre colors. The color legend is as follows:
blue = reminder set
green = timer set
red = recording
Notice also the "Recording" label in the program info section below. Hope you approve b/c this is the solution.

Welcome to the forum. This feature is not available yet. I have no ETA for you but it will be included in the next patch (v5.21.2).
