Did you install the Nexus Mod for MQ 8, and do you have "CINEMAGRAPH ARTS - POSTER" enabled in the top menu?

Just a quick question is this all films or just movies that are in sets ? Because with Android animated posters for movies that are in SETS have to be located on the android box itself not a share but individual movies animated art CAN be on a remote share ..

the CINEMAGRAPH ARTS - POSTER function is activated in the menu the animated gif is well selected but remains static it's like for the weather I have a woman who walks on the sand very simple as an effect and the image no longer moves she is static in Nexus 20.2

Good morning

I'm trying to post my question in the MQ8 thread for maybe better luck! I recently migrated under nexus 20.2 with aeon MQ8 (before MQ7 under krypton) and since then I had some animated wallpapers and now they no longer work as well as some covers also when I select the images in the Cinegraph skin posters but remains static no more movement anyone have an idea thank you for your help

Im on the newest build on Android and have no troubles with motionposters , Other than i said before with movie set ( since they pull the artwork differently) you have to have the motionposter on the Android box itself *atleast for sets all other motionposters you can pull from any source like an SMB server or something

if I understand you correctly I have to start again from the beginning and reload Aeon MQ 8 Nexus Mod v1.0.0.7 for Kodi v20 "Nexus" and reinstall everything for it to work?

because I had to ask the question how to make your own version of kodi in order to be able to test with something else because today my kodi nexus 20.2 works very well my my animated images either in my menu or in my posters do not doesn't animate ... maybe we need to make a setting and say things in it or can I give a log of my configuration to understand why it doesn't work since I switched from krypton to nexus? in any case thank you to all people who could help me on the forum because I'm really struggling!! thank you all mike

UPDATE #8 - This will update the skin to v1.0.0.8

Image Additions
  • I added a WEBDL icon to the mediatype flag. To display the flag, you can add ".webdl" or ".web-dl" to your filename. Thanks to GrimGriefer for the request!

Image Bug fixes
  • If you were missing discart for an album, and you had "LOGO IN CD" enabled for layout 4 or 6 in music viz, the clearlogo and artist name were both being displayed on the blank CD. The clearlogo was also not positioned correctly. Thanks to Chalklands for reporting the bug!

There is also an update to the Colored Videocodec add-on available in my repo.

@latts9923 Is there a more practical way of switching channel groups on the PVR Live TV guide other than the top menu? Reason being is because i don't allow this top menu to be accessed in production. I first thought of making a shortcut on the main menu/sub-menu (assuming that's possible) But I'm curious if a button row can be added somewhere on the guide to allow for switching channel groups?

*update* I found on the Yatse remote a relatively practical way to switch group filters which is mostly how we navigate around Kodi anyway, consider the 'on screen' method of switching groups a 'nice to have' but not extremely essential at this point.

In the "Wall" view for movies, I need to see the duration of movies but don't want the tagline.
It seems to be impossible.
Or maybe is there a solution ?

Image Bug fixes
  • The webdl icon was not displaying due to a similar naming convention to the webtv icon. Please use the extensions ".web." (with a leading AND trailing period), ".webrip" or ".web-rip" to display the webtv icon. Thanks to Juan Mortyme for reporting the bug and providing the fix!
  • The mini weather was not displaying the low temps for night. This is new for Nexus.

Got a bug now the weather now shows double temperatures overtop each other .
