@MB1968 I run "vanila" BETA-3 and BETA-3 latest Nightly versions on Nvidia Shields Pro 2019 and do not see this issue.
NOTE:
I noticed, just now, that you are using custom Theme. Can you switch to defalt ZEN theme and see if this issue persist?

Is your native language English? English words are often shorter than Dutch. That could explain the extra lines for the notification. Maybe latts can shine a light on it. I'll install the latest nightly asap.
I'm using custom images for my menu backgrounds instead of Zen. I've tried last week with a vanilla guisettings.xml and skin settings.xml. Made no difference. Can you check for me if your tv is listed in your logfile?

@MB1968 No, my native language is not English but I live long enough, 47 years, in US so it became almost native and that is the language I use. Come to think of it you might have a point that lenght ot the text might exceed the lenght of asigned field. @latts9923 would be the best to know that.
I also use custom backgrounds of 4K resolution and use ZEN theme. I did set up backrounds through Customizing Menus, qiute simple. I have couple of Samsung 4K TV`s and 1 LG 4K. I do not think is your TV that is not capable of 4K because it is. I think it is your streaming device not sending 4k signal. Just because you can play 4k mkv file that does not mean it is in 4K signal. I have 2 non 4k TV`s and I can play 4K mkv move, TV show without any issue. Also, keep in mind that Chinese android boxes are notorious in overstating specs and capabilities. I do not know if Beelink GT King falls into that category, but IMO, it is something to consider. So, having said that, your situation is kind of interesting and I am curious what the solution might be.

When I bought it in 2020, it was the second fastest box on the market after the nVidia Shield. I might have bought the Shield, if it had an spdif output. And there's another thing: I don't like the pure Android TV interface on the Shield. It is cumbersome. I have no doubt the GT King plays 4K correctly. The difference between Full HD and 4K is clearly visible. I think there's a shortage in the Beelink firmware when using Kodi on Android. I'll install CoreELEC next week. I'm pretty sure the MQ9 skin will run in 4K in CoreELEC. But unfortunately CoreELEC has other issues. Press 2 keyboard buttons simultaneously by accident and it freezes and will reboot spontaneously.

Doh! I forgot to carry over a change from Nexus. Easy fix for the text behind the Season artwork. Open Includes.xml and find "media_info_title". The third control below that is a label. Change the visible line to this...

I see the clearart/clearlogo in the lower right of the fanart thumbnail for View Type-28.
I have a fix for View Type-32 and 36...a few extra steps that will be in the next update.

Haha…yesterday was cold and windy, so I was stuck inside and had time to get another update prepared.
How exactly are you "refreshing" an episode? I think this is the same problem as the simple next up script...just more characters than the width can display.

Ah...OK. I was wondering how you did that from the TV Show screen. Haha.
Try this...open DialogConfirm.xml and change the height in "dialogs_bar" to 228. Now open Includes.xml and change the top in "dialogs_label_right2" to 122. See if that works for you.

You can check the Video.db but I don't think Kodi imports the country for TV Shows. I believe the skin depends on a script to fetch that info from an online db.

UPDATE #13 -This will update the skin to v1.1.4
Additions- I added code to display multiple clearlogo images for Movies, TV Shows and Seasons in the Boxsets for View Type-16 and 17.
Bug fixes- The clearlogo was overlapping the title in some views while browsing Seasons. Thanks to @andrzejls for reporting the bug!
- The clearlogo for Seasons was not displaying for View Type-32 and 36 when "LOGO AS TITLE" was selected. Thanks to @andrzejls for reporting the bug!
- If you were using View Type-3 for TV Shows and View Type-17 for Seasons and you hit back while browsing Seasons you would be taken to an empty screen. Thanks to @perspicacia for reporting the bug!
