RE: Aeon Madnox - Beta Release (for Isengard / Jarvis) - gibxxi - 2016-01-30 Just updated to Jarvis RC2, and needed to alter some CEC Adapter settings to stop the TV and Amp turning each other off at startup... and it looks as if somewhere along the line the peripherals background panel was broken again. It's using the same 'size' background panel, regardless of the device being viewed (CEC Adapter OR Nyxboard). Screenshot above is from: Settings -> System -> Input Devices -> Peripherals -> CEC Adapter. Dan/Gib. Wold like to add subsonic latest releases to my kodi home screen. Actualy i'm using kodi 15.2 isengard and Madsonic version. I'm using plugin.audio.madsonic plugin, and works great RE: Aeon Madnox - Beta Release (for Isengard / Jarvis) - Alanon - 2016-01-31 I updated to the latest dev version a couple of days ago, so I thought is was the right time to give my input (my last update was just this morning, to both the skin and the templates branch). Firstly, I have to say that as a whole, everything works great! The widgets are fast and smooth, much quicker to start, and from what I can see there are no glaring bugs with the way they function. These are the problems I've come across. 1. If you use a mouse, the widget settings dialog disappears as soon as you move the cursor, at the moment you have to use the keyboard. 2. When you are setting up the widget limit, you get a list with the numbers, and then a number pad. This creates problems because the numpad retains some numbers regardless of what you select from the list. For instance, if you select "fifty", and then none, because of the numpad it will remain at fifty, and so on. IMO, one of these should be removed. 3. In the Extended Mixed widget layout, some panels ignore the settings that were given to them. I haven't researched it enough to know what precisely happens at which times, but the most common occurrence in my case has been when the posters layout is converted to square posters. I presume that this is by design, to ensure the correct amount of space is occupied, but the consequence is that 9 times out of 10 the widget ends up looking differently than it was set up during config. As I said, I presume it's a feature rather than a bug, but it would be nice if it were explained in some future gallery/update, since novice users will get confused. As an alternative (though a complex one), some layout options could become unavailable depending on what you select as a first widget. So if the first is a fanart layout, the skin would know that there isn't enough room for another one, and would disable them for the other three widget choices, etc... 4. This is more of a question than bug. In which cases should the widget limit work? For me the lists cap out at 25 regardless of what number I put in during config. That's about all of the issues I've encountered. Keep up the amazing work! PS. How do I disable that infernal debug display? Just a note to say the changes from the templates branch of script.skinshortcuts are now on master, so the branch will soon be deleted + master will have to be used instead. I've put a quick-but-not-very-good fix onto git. When right-clicking to close the widget options, make sure the cursor isn't over any of the options underneath or the whole dialog will close. A better fix will probably have to involve someone stepping up to do some re-designing. (2016-01-31, 13:37)Alanon Wrote: 2. This is more of a question than bug. In which cases should the widget limit work? For me the lists cap out at 25 regardless of what number I put in during config. The limit can only reduce the number of items the widget returns. The maximum amount is set by the addon, playlist, library node, etc that is providing the widget. So if the widget only returns 25, setting its limit to 50 isn't going to do anything. (2016-01-31, 13:37)Alanon Wrote: PS. My arthritis isn't slowing me down yet" .... but mine did RE: Aeon Madnox - Beta Release (for Isengard / Jarvis) - bsoriano - 2016-01-31 Hello, Thanks to the dev/gfx team for including the colored flags and the audio and subtitle language flags when pressing "i" on a widget item! I do have the following for team to consider: 1. In my opinion, the audio and subtitle flags would look better if they were done like in the video info dialog, with labels that read "Audio" and "Subtitle", one below the other, and next to them up to howver many language and subtitle flags can fit. Right now the audio language flags are next to the audio codec flag, and the subtitle flags appear all the way at the end on the right side, quite separated from the "Sub CC" icon. Thanks for considering this. Thanks Bobrap, Pulling from the skinshortcuts-dev branch, where the team is working with Mr. V's new widget code. If you are going to test that, you need to also have the latest script.skinshortcuts, master branch from BigNoid's GitHub. Regards, Bart RE: Aeon Madnox - Beta Release (for Isengard / Jarvis) - bobrap - 2016-01-31 Thanks, Bart. Didn't realize there was a skinshortcuts-dev. Had just been using skinshortcuts. Thanks a lot ! Now, others weird behaviors when in Music Viz : 1) "M" panel option rotate doesn't work either, 2) When MP3/Magazine/photo widget is active, hitting return or tab or esc will crash Kodi (at least on Jarvis version) 3) Everytime next song is played, if we just keep the "m" pannel, the "i" pannel pops from behind, which results on an overloaded viz 4) Auto Music Viz doesn't seem to change anything for me, what's the purpose of this option ? 5) There is no progress bar in the default music viz view and no way to change star rating as before 6) Activating the MP3/Magazine/photo widgets makes the artist name disappear with spotimc or when an artist does not have a logo. 7) artist logo overlaps on lines for alternative viz 2 Best regards and keep up the amazing work done so far guys ! RE: Aeon Madnox - Beta Release (for Isengard / Jarvis) - meowmoo - 2016-01-31 1. Whats the "m" panel? M shows the option/lyrics/ visualization bar, and don't rotate. Don't get what you mean sorry 2. Could/should because of the alarm line you add back in, remove it and try again if it works 3.again the m panel i have no idear :p 4. Its broken, we working on it 5. Up /down should change the star rating, never used it never tried it, if it don't work we need to fix it. I can add a progress bar but I have no idear where to place it, I don't use the original layout need to take a look 6 and 7. I will take a look Pictures will make things easier next time PS: 1&1 fixed the f***** internet pipeline after 4 days, hell year RE: Aeon Madnox - Beta Release (for Isengard / Jarvis) - Mr. V - 2016-01-31 (2016-01-31, 13:37)Alanon Wrote: 2. This list was my original approach to the limit and was commented out of the code so it should not display. (FYI the shortcuts folder contains the code that was commented out in the overrides.xml) If you are on the latest git just make sure you have not done a copy and paste over your existing install and have also updated the shortcut folder not just the 1080 folder. So if the first is a fanart layout, the skin would know that there isn't enough room for another one, and would disable them for the other three widget choices, etc... If you change the widget type the artwork will be reset to a predefined value. Music/addons will revert to square and Movies/tvshows will revert to poster. What I have noticed is the artwork label does itself does not change to the default value the first time you change the type. If you try a second time the label will update. This might be what your seeing. So everytime you change the widget type you need to change the artwork if you do not want the default value. Another thing is the 2nd and 4th panel only show the top part of the poster for poster layout. (just not enough room to make it fit) I could make it smaller but the aspect of the poster would be out. RE: Aeon Madnox - Beta Release (for Isengard / Jarvis) - benjidave - 2016-01-31 I think I found a bug. When I go to my tv shows (Viewtype: Episodes) , the poster is there. When I select a show (Viewtype: List) ... and I go back to the tv shows list, the poster is no longer there. For some reasons, if the viewtype of a selected tv show is something else that doesn't have a poster (e.g. Panel) ... and I go back to the list, the bug doesn't occur and the poster is still there. I'm using the jarvis version. Does it happen to anyone else? EDIT: I'm using emby though... |
