RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - Legion455 - 2013-03-23 I did have them named <movie>.cd1 , but someone posted to change it to ... <movie>-cd1 Legion "confused in Louisville" Add this style? All I want is to name my files such that EMM will work, and XBMC will work. Another question than is ... "Is EMM r10 working correctly for multipart movies?" Somehthing tells me that there a 'bug' in da house! thanks! RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - >>X<< - 2013-03-23 It does work I tested it yesterday before I posted There is a slight difference though between what XBMC creates during export and what Ember creates, XBMC drops the separator between the file name and CD1 CD2 etc but ember keeps it. So using Premium.Rush.cd1.mkv Premium.Rush.cd2.mkv Ember creates Premium.Rush..nfo Premium.Rush.-fanart.jpg Premium.Rush.-poster.jpg XBMC creates Premium.Rush.nfo Premium.Rush-fanart.jpg Premium.Rush-poster.jpg Just thought I'd mention it RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - Legion455 - 2013-03-23 so .... multipart movies should have the format: <movie>.cd1 ?? deh2k7 said .... PHP Code: some changes to multi-disc movie stacking in frodo, which, while a pain in the ass to adjust to, is nicer moving forward. you can see why I'm somewhat confused at this point. So far, it seems r10 can handle <movie>.cd1, etc .... but not <movie>-cd1 , contrary to what deh2k7 posted. XBMC can handle quite a few ways of stacking and I should imagine EMM handles the same default stacking available XBMC? http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=File_stacking RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - Legion455 - 2013-03-23 hmmmm, ok man, thanks for the help,... I'll just use <movie>.cd1 for the time being. I would suggest Norton is the virus here, not emm, nothing to worry about btw. if someone has ANY info about my previous question, i would appreciate (some xml editor where you can bulk edit xmls?) http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=116941&pid=1366908#pid1366908 tnx RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - juan71287 - 2013-03-24 Hey all. Is there a way to prevent EMM from renaming my movies? Also, is there a way to prevent it from putting ".bluray" at the end of my movie file? Thanks. Correct me if i'm wrong RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - deh2k7 - 2013-03-24 I'm having some trouble with EMM properly scraping metadata from a couple movie files... here is a mediainfo output from the file itself: Code: General here is what EMM is scraping: Code: <fileinfo> Can someone take a look at why EMM does not seem to want to scrape this properly? RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - orbtwin - 2013-03-24 i'm trying to fill the technical language box for my movies. Normally the encoded mkv flags has the appropiate language field, altough it's easy correct that info with mktoolnix, or remove some subs. otherwise for the normally *.avi or *.ogm or *.mpg i don't know how to stamp in the tag file that info. in Ember i can edit the languages for movies and episodes, but are overwrite with clicking refresh button, then the *.nfo lost the information. somebody knows how to "permanently" preserve that info?...with a tag video editor or such? will be viable change the *.nfo to a "read only" attribute? i need some type of help, because i'm gonna fill +2000 movies and +80 tv-shows ... EDIT: well...if i protect the *. nfo with "read only" attribute the info are preserved, otherwise if i refresh the button in ember in the ember window for the tech info those information dissapears, otherwise if i reload F5 appears again. The trick will be protect the *.nfo?...wich future changes i need to add at the details movie? at the moment I can think of none. it's annoying...it's normal behaviour...or i'm crazy paranoic obsesive RE: New Home for Ember Media Manager (Official Thread) - DanCooper - 2013-03-25 (2013-03-24, 03:29)huttdes Wrote: When I just went to upgrade to the latest version Norton popped this up about the EMM executable.... Orbtwin, What I have done which works well is convert the .avi or .mpg to .mkv with mkvtoolnix. When you do that, you can specify the video and audio language. This will now be a permanent part of the file, and Ember and XBMC will pick it up without any problems. I know that doing this is a pain if you have a large amount of movies to go through, but it is worth it. OMG !! ... knew of the existence of this possibility, but its a PAIN, PAIN!. too many movies, too many episodes to transcode into mkv ... can be done in batch mode also i know but, would be a mess. otherwise thanks, thank for your response. Talking about the possibility of "protect" the *.nfo: wich limitations or problems could i meet?...somekin of programs hang up? bsod,...?? or nothing at all. thx again!!. |
