RE: WebGrab+Plus Configurator - nanmer - 2018-02-10

Is this referring only to windows 10 or windows 7 as well. The reason I ask was because I couldn't find it in windows 7 until I enabled show all hidden files and directories and allow file renaming and deletion within kodi. Although Im still having problems getting this to work. Banging my head over here.

Win10 64bit, WebGrabPlus v2.1, Leia Nightly win64 build (Aug 1st) and tested script.webgrab v2 device wizard with following observations.

WebGrab+Plus.exe path is set valid and correct at C:\Program Files (x86)\WebGrab+Plus\bin\WebGrab+Plus.exe

Note: Default home folder appears to have moved under WebGrabPlus v2.1 to new default "AppData" folder location i.e. C:\Users\mike\AppData\Local\WebGrab+Plus

script.webgrab v2 device wizard currently creates C:\ProgramData\ServerCare\WebGrab (old WebGrabPlus v1.xx default location) with everything working as expected and all relevant webgrab input/output files being stored here etc.

Selection in wizard its slightly confusing for new users as to which version of Kodi they should select i.e. LibreELEC 8 = Leia (for rpi devices for example)

Once wizard utilsed, underlying settings.xml only refers to devices 1, 2 or 3 with 3 = Windows 64bit v2 being selected for my particular usage case.

Hope short notes make sense..

Additionally unrelated to Windows, I noticed reference to webgrabplus.start as executable for LibreELEC 7, should it be webgrabplus.run same as for LibreELEC 8?

Thanks very much for checking it.

I couldn't work out a way to get the %AppData% variable to appear in the Settings so I left it at the old default.
If you ever find out please let me know. There probably is a way to do it.

LibreELEC changed from .start to .run in version 8.

I haven't kept up with the LibreELEC numbering scheme is there a correlation between LibreELEC versions and Kodi versions?

The device numbers aren't used at the moment so it doesn't matter too much. I had some plans for them.

You're going to have to be more specific what you mean by "this" and "it". I don't understand what you can't do.

RE: WebGrab+Plus Configurator - nanmer - 2018-02-11

Please forget about post #331. Post #332 explains what Its about. Which is getting the %AppData variable to appear. I didn't get it to appear. I was just able to get the path to %AppData to come up within kodi when using webgrab++. Sorry, I think I may have missed interpreted the original post.

What does the rest of the error say?
Sometimes the provider's grabber is out of date and you have to find a channel from a different provider.
Some providers need an extra configuration step to set the cookies for your zip code.
Have a look for an info file in the site.ini folder for your provider.
I think the wizards might still work but I haven't tried them for years.

You have to have unique xmltv_id values.
So you need to just add a channel from only one provider.

You have
Code:

ITVBe+1

ITVBe+1

Don't worry about that error. I don't know why it does it but it does and it doesn't matter.

The main thing is: does it say it found all the channels and wrote the xmltv file?

RE: WebGrab+Plus Configurator - primaeval - 2018-04-05

Now you've managed to take out all the channels.
Add at least one and make sure you Output the Config Files before Running Webgrab.

Look in the file:
Code:
userdata\addon_data\script.webgrab\webgrab\config\WebGrab++.config.xml
to see if it has made any channels.

That file gets copied to wherever you set the "Config Output Folder".
That folder is passed as a command line argument to the Webgrab exe to create your xmltv file.
The ini files in that folder are copied too.

RE: WebGrab+Plus Configurator - primaeval - 2018-04-05

That looks more like it.

You can load the local xmltv.xml file in Kodi in most TV Guides and in IPTV Simple Client from a local file although you could upload it somewhere.

The number of days is in the settings on the second page. The webgrab ini file starts numbering day 1 as 0 just to confuse you.

Your next job is to set up a Windows Task Scheduler job to run the webgrab exe once a day or whenever you like.
The argument to the Action needs to be the "Config Output Folder". Then webgrab can find the config and ini files.
Run it as the System account to stop it popping up the cmd window.

RE: WebGrab+Plus Configurator - DarrenHill - 2018-04-05

Both the freesat and TVGuide.co.uk sites have me problems last week when I tried to set this up again (new TVheadend server setup).

Don't have logs as I need everything and ended up just using ota EPG via hdhomerun, but might be worth a look if you're still maintaining this or can feedback to the main webgrab authors.
