I installed this today and I am having problems getting the merged channels to show up where I want them.
My standard PVR is using HDHomerun, and I pull the channel #'s from my provider. I wanted to put the merged IP channels at the end starting with channel 1500. I set that number in both IPTV Merge and PVR IPTV Simple Client, and I have Kodi default settings to use channel #'s from backend....
Sometimes the IP channels show up as 1, and sometimes they show up with a separate number (so if I type 510 on my epg, I see 3 different 510 channels in the guide) - I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Any thoughts?

you may be pulling in channel numbers from the playlists themselves.
In IPTV Merge, go to Playlists > select each playlist > and enable "Ignore Playlist Channel Numbers"
Then go to IPTV Merge > Settings > General and set Starting channel number to 1500
The channel numbers will then start from 1500 and be in the order the channels come in the playlists

Run at boot option is very handy but it'll be awesome to pair it with an adjustable sleep setting.
I have a python3 script that pulls a m3u list a boot thus a small delay is needed.

just pushed 0.21.7
this adds a new setting under advanced called "Service Delay".
Set this to the number of seconds you want to wait before the merge service starts.
just note: no "run merge" or "boot merge" can be run until after this delay.

Hi! In Germany there is the Magenta TV service. For this someone made a script that creates a magenta m3u. Now I wanted to link these to my own list via IPTV Merge. Unfortunately that doesn't work. Could you take a look?

The problem with Magenta TV is that you have to hand over a license code for every stream call (see Magenta.m3u, #KODIPROP:inputstream.adaptive.license_key=https://vmxdrmfklb1.sfm.t-online.de:8063/|deviceId=bc7e6654-6612-3a31-b8dc-f9dda4249b48|R{SSM}|). This no longer happens after the merge. Therefore, the magenta streams do not work.

ok, i see the issue.
Your playlist is using #KODIPROP before #EXTINF.
IPTV Merge expects #EXTINF to be first.
I have just pushed an update to IPTV Merge (v0.21.8) that now supports any ordering.
Please update to that and Run Merge again and see if that fixes it.

Hi, I have the latest iptv merge installed, I have a playlist on disk, I use iptv merge because of two epg sources. Sometimes it is not possible to start the channel - error geoblocking ...., in vlc or iptv simple client this error is not. How do I solve this problem? (x96 max plus, kodi 19.3)

It would be nice if you could add an option to turn off the dialog box (SlyGuy Common - Error), and instead - an option to automatically play the next link.
I have some links (live events) that sometimes work and sometimes do not, and I prefer that when there is a link that does not work - it will continue to the next link.

Hiding the dialog is possible.
Going to next item is not - that would have to be done in Kodi or IPTV simple client. If you work out this, let me know and I'll see if I can add a setting to remove dialog.

It works great, i am wondering if the "Custom Group" settings of iptvsimple can be integrated into IPTV Merge on a per-source basis?
