@jurialmunkey

First of all, thanks for this great skin. Some minor requests:

The track number column in the lists are 2 digits wide. Any chance this could be made slightly wider so at least 3 digits fit without truncation/scrolling?

Would it be possible to make the info screen for songs use the comment field as a fallback?

Hi,
at first I would like to say that this skin is great!
I have just one simple question, how to enable more forced views in addon-on view? Now I have just 4 or 5 which I can pick, but none of them is not showing episode description or extended info.
Only way to see this is to set widget with episodes as single widget, then it looks like spotlight and I can see all descriptions.

PS
Addon-on is showing free content in polish language, so I am not saying about any banned addon.

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - runsamok - 2020-04-25

So the sub-menus & power menu are context menus that use a different key than the one that brings up the context menus everywhere else? I've always (~8 years) used my OEM remote from my TV through CEC & I can pull up the context menus everywhere but on the main menu, which is a little weird.

(Whoops, wrong thread. Should be in AH)

Hello, after asking a lot in the forum and receiving little response, I am determined to give the solution to my problem and I hope to help some who have the same doubt, I hope that in the future they can help me since this time help It was minimal and with hardly any response.
The strm files when used in the cloud must go in separate folders with their corresponding .nfo .... and scan them afterwards so that the hevc, uhd, dolby codec flags appear in this way ... hello everyone.

I was actually wondering about this. In use the netflix addon and import stuff into my library so I can have all my favorite stuff in once place. However, Kodi doesn't display media flags for this because they are strm files. There is an option in the netflix addon to download nfo files as well but these nfo files don't have any information for fileinfo such as the resolution and codec. Now I could add this stuff to the nfo file manually but what if a TV show has over 100 episodes? That's just not a feasible task. Is there an easy way to do this?

Hi there, I am also seeing this missing poster artwork for recent TV as missing, the outline of a poster is there, but no artwork, seems to be random.  This as you mention, also works with other installed skins, and I can switch skins back and forth between the native osmc skin and this one and the poster artwork appears/disappears.  Any help would be appreciated as this is a fantastic skin.

Reckoner89, I have only tried with movies and series, I am afraid it must be done one by one a tedious job ..., I hope later on simply with the strm you can capture all the information without the need for nfo, poster, fanart ...

If it helps, shows typically don't have .nfo files for every episode. There's usually only one for the whole show, and possibly one for each season.

Hi @jurialmunkey !

Great skin 👌

Returning to Kodi after months, and switched from Mimic Lyrebird mod for Kodi 18 given it is error prone.

Lyrebird mod keeps getting PIN prompt at boot and later even though it is OFF in Startup menu. Plus doesn't turn off the Sideblade menu to left ( to prevent family messing around with settings !)

A great feature of your skin is including CoreElec Settings. With other skins, I had to switch back to the default Estuary Skin, then come back again...

Questions: I am running CoreElec on an X96 S905W 1GB RAM tv box from USB.

1. Any colors for the menu text, or size or font change ?

2. Most important.
I only want to display Connections setting for WiFi without PIN etc, while locking up other Settings ( as above for preventing mix-ups.)

Can I go into Skin - Home- Customize- Menu Item- Action- Custom (path) and set to ActivateWindow( CoreELEC Settings, Connections, return) ?

Tried some variations of above but no result. Please help with the correct path 😊

Edit: Of course this does not have to be CE Settings Connections GUI ! Anything that can help a regular home member setup WiFi with a couple clicks would do.

3. I would like to hide Settings as much as possible ( for above reasons) and plan to use a PIN anyway ( not tried yet, still configuring !)

Can I configure Settings as a Power submenu just so it is a bit hidden?

Is there a way to recover Settings in case it is accidentally deleted on the home screen, after boot up?

Thanks 😊 much.

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - zeeya - 2020-04-30

Does this skin support mouse? Because I am getting erratic behavior when I use mouse.

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - kny2tl - 2020-04-30

All, I'm trying to set up something simple, yet I struggle. I have two sources, "kids" and "adults". In home menu (vertical|multiple widgets) I have them as custom and each one shows really just "kids" or "adults". "Kids" have submenu, "adults" don't. Submenu I'm interested in "Sets" action "ActivateWindow(1133).
Q: How do I get that "Sets" submenu to "Adults", so it shows sets from"adults" source?

I tried to serach across various forums but nothing positive. Perhaps I'm using sources in bad way; but I couldn't find to clearly separate kids and adult movies in movie library..
Any thoughts, ideas are so appreciated.

You can definitely do colors, by using tags around your text. Here's a handy list of color codes Wink

You can use ActivateWindow(Settings).

This one is possible if you have a way to get back to the Skin Settings menu, because the "Customize home menu" dialog offers a way to restore the defaults. If you don't have a shortcut to either ActivateWindow(Settings) or ActivateWindow(SkinSettings), I don't know that you can get it back without clearing Skin Shortcuts' add-on data.

Sorry I didn't have an answer for all of them, but hopefully that helps Smile

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - siliconhippy - 2020-05-01

@drinfernoo,

Thanks. You ended up answering more in #3!

So if there is a problem with the home screen, now I know I can just SSH into the box and clear out the Skin addons data via WinSCP etc.

Now I'll wait for the Big Kahuna #2 answer 🤡

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - ontap - 2020-05-01

A good safeguard is to add "skinsettings" to the shutdown menu, then if you lose settings from mainmenu, just long press on BAck button to bring up shutdown menu and you can access skin settings and re add settings to main menu.

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - siliconhippy - 2020-05-01

@ontap

Great idea😏

You mean adding the Skin Settings menu to the Shutdown menu, which can be accessed by the long pressing BACK button on remote/keyboard?
