I have found the option (clearlogo). But instead of the regular font, I need to change it for the special title font of each movie. I m clear?

Movies in your library need to have a clearlogo in order for it to show. Often, you'll get them from Fanart.TV, or by entering your Fanart.TV API key into various add-ons' settings.

Thanks!
On the other hand, It would be a geat feature to keep seeing the menu icons all the time at the left side of the screen. I have chosen the icon+text but when I go to the widgets, would be nice to keep the icons visible. If this possible in a future update?

Yes the skin will work in Kodi 18.8, use this link for the repo https://github.com/jurialmunkey/repository.jurialmunkey/raw/master/zips/repository.jurialmunkey/repository.jurialmunkey-1.4-leia.zip

However, I was not able to install it on my newly setup Raspberry Pi4 with Kodi 18.8.

Here is what I did:
1) Tried to download the repository as per opening post from https://github.com/jurialmunkey/repository.jurialmunkey/raw/master/repository.jurialmunkey-1.2.zip -> Link was dead
2) Downloaded from GitHub as per opening post (https://github.com/jurialmunkey/skin.arctic.zephyr.2/releases, file: https://github.com/jurialmunkey/skin.arctic.zephyr.2/archive/master.zip), put it on a USB stick, tried to Install From ZIP -> Kodi did not do anything
3) Searched for the repository, downloaded it from https://github.com/jurialmunkey/repository.jurialmunkey (file: https://github.com/jurialmunkey/repository.jurialmunkey/archive/master.zip), put it on a USB stick, tried to Install From ZIP -> Kodi returned an error message
4) Added a new source in Kodi File Manager, with path https://jurialmunkey.github.io/ as per post #3598 -> Kodi returned error message related to network connection issue
5) Changed source in Kodi File Manager to https://jurialmunkey.github.io/repository.jurialmunkey-1.4-leia.zip -> Kodi stalled

Questions:
1) Does the Arctic Zephyr 2 skin work on my Kodi 18.8?
2) Where can I find the files I need to install it?
3) How do I need to install it?

Would appreciate if somebody could direct me. As I said, it is not that easy for a newbie.

Thank you, Blue Sue

The file manager source to add is: https://jurialmunkey.github.io/

And for Leia 18.x, install the zip marked with "leia".

That's... all there is to it.

EDIT: @jurialmunkey He does bring up a point... the links in OP need to be updated Wink

Thank you very much. Worked out fine. Next question: All the configurations I have done so far seem to be gone when I switch to the skin. Is this how it is supposed to be? Is it correct that I need to configure all menu items, select widgets etc. Nothing there by default? Also, all the add-ons I have installed so far are not visible anymore, instead I just get the five items to install new add-ons from ZIP etc. Is there any cookbook on how to configure the skin step by step? Thank you. Blue Sue

In dialogvideoinfo, when I click on an actor/actress it no longer brings up the bio. Is there a setting I need to change to see the bio?

Yes, that's correct. The default shortcuts are setup to point into the library, so if you have nothing in your library, they won't show up.

You can customize all of those shortcuts via "Settings -> Skin Settings -> Customize home menu".

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - molinapee - 2020-09-14

Hi, theres a way to improve the timming on the widgets loading on the home screen?

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - LostBrit76 - 2020-09-14

Is there any way in this skin to have a full screen widget for a menu item, and scrolling down shows the rest of the widgets?

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - BlueBlue - 2020-09-14

Next question: I have installed various add-ons. When I select "Add-Ons" in the main menu those add-ons are neither shown nor could I find a way to get to them. What is shown though is various sqaures with "Install from repository", "Install from ZIP" etc. Can anybody point me the configuration item I need to change in order to see my installed add-ons? Thank you. Blue Sue.

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - BlueBlue - 2020-09-16

As I understand, if I define a global widget that widget is used whenever no other widget has been defined for a menu / submenu item. In my setup the global widget displays a (random) selection of movies - which is great for movies, however, not at all great for e.g. a radio or picture menu item. In order to work around this I would like to either select a 'show-nothing' widget or by not defining a global widget.

Questions:
a) Is there such a thing as a 'show-nothing' widget which I can use in case a global widget has been defined and I do not want to use that for a particular menu / submenu item?
b) In case there is no such widget, how can I select the 'standard' global widget which shows a (random) selection of movies with label 'Spotlight' on a menu / submenu level? Which one do I need to select? How can I make sure it uses the label 'Spotlight' rather than 'Random Movies'.

Thank you for any advice.
