RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - 389abc - 2014-12-09 (2014-12-09, 11:39)bromix Wrote: I'm planing to. Is this even working in the other addon? I',m asking because for me this never worked in my tests (compared to some videos on the web page).Yes. Subtitle works in official plugin. Not many videos have them though. But sometime very useful. I vote for it too. Option in menu enable subtitles after that all works. You can enable and disable as on DVD during viewing. But I would like to ask about Default View first. Is there any progress it that direction...Just asking. Thank you! RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - bromix - 2014-12-09 (2014-12-09, 20:25)389abc Wrote:(2014-12-09, 11:39)bromix Wrote: I'm planing to. Okay...I put the default view on the list for the next update RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - 389abc - 2014-12-09 Thank you Thank you Thank you RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - razord93 - 2014-12-10 Not sure if you have already answered this question already but Any chance for 1080p and maybe some 60 fps? ¨ i like to watch gaming videos and some grand strat games with 720p kinda makes it blurry, And is the cache limit 25mb for a reason or just a number? also any possibility that you can add Play from here? RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - dkplayaclub - 2014-12-10 What is "play from here" anyways? I've never used it in all these years. lol Re: RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - bromix - 2014-12-10 (2014-12-10, 00:38)razord93 Wrote: Not sure if you have already answered this question already butYes already answered 1080p and 60fps no. Not because I won't but because of technical limitations (Kodi+ffmpeg and also YouTube). If you mean the cache of the addon. That has nothing to do with caching video data but more with caching of meta data so navigation will be fast and meta data for videos and channels are available fast. RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - razord93 - 2014-12-10 (2014-12-10, 01:46)dkplayaclub Wrote: What is "play from here" anyways? I've never used it in all these years. lolIt plays rest of the videos from playlist from the point you choose, without play from here i have to play videos manually RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - dkplayaclub - 2014-12-10 Noticed another thing tonight that might need some looking into. There needs to be a way to hide or filter paid content, or at least mark paid videos somehow (maybe a different color). As it is now, these videos just throw an error, but with no explanation as to why, I would have figured they would only show up in the "paid channels" section, but paid content will show up in searches and there isn't any way to tell if some videos on a playlist are paid or not. RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - reggert32 - 2014-12-10 For me subtitles always worked in the other addon. I watched a lot of movies on youtube and never a problem. RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - nikstra - 2014-12-10 I have installed your add-on and I'm impressed by the speed on my Raspberry Pi/OpenELEC. I saw that get it to remember (or default to) thumbnail view was on your todo list and I'm looking forward to that. One thing that I find confusing is "My Subscriptions" vs. "Subscriptions". I've got it now but wouldn't it be clearer if it was called "Subscription Updates" or something instead of "My Subscriptions" or does the captions come from YouTube? Keep up the good work! RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - hassuni - 2014-12-11 Hallo, I hope if you can add a features for this amazing addons. we are Geo blolcked in Germany for livestream and a lot music videos, it will be nice if can do the same features like firefox addons Thanks a lot http://www.unblocker.yt/en/youtube-unblocker-firefox/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/youtube-unblocker/?src=userprofile RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - dkplayaclub - 2014-12-11 Hassuni, I am assuming that the regions will be selectable in upcoming versions. I have noticed that I get a good amount of German videos in searches which leads me to believe that the code is based on getting results from that region. I am almost positive I remember Bromix saying something about region settings being on his to-do list. RE: YouTube (alpha.28) - dkplayaclub - 2014-12-12 Wasn't expecting it to work since it hasn't for me to date, but I tried liking some videos on the newest version and I actually get a "forbidden" error when trying to like a video. Don't know if it helps or not, but here is a log of it happening to me. http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=371298 Also, been having intermittent issues with thumbnails loading very slowly or not at all. It may not be an issue with the addon. Great work. Strange though that it wasn't an issue with normal YT addon.
