I'm using NextPVR now and I can't get EPG colors to work. That screenshot was taken when I was using WMC. Thanks for reply I found this skin thread , Arctic Zephyr: Exploded I saw a option like show genre colours under view:Epg settings, after select It have colour highlight timeline, so is possible add this function/option to mimic skins ? It's depends on PVR backend ,not depends on skins settings ? I use IPTV simple client ... Thanks you RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - braz - 2015-08-07 (2015-08-07, 07:43)ccsang Wrote:Do you have epg information imported for all your channels? And does the epg info include the genre of each program? If the answer is yes to both, then you "should" get epg colors. I'm guessing the skin setting in Arctic Zephyr Exploded is just so users can turn the color on/off if they want. It shouldn't be required for them to show though.(2015-08-07, 01:52)braz Wrote:(2015-08-06, 17:45)ccsang Wrote: Hello, may i know how do to this ? EPG colour? It all depends on your PVR backend. Here's the updated color table... @braz - thanks for the broader colour palette range... working like a charm! I know you prefer to minimise options, so far I think you have achieved a really nice blend of options with minimalist simplicity... I think options are why we all love Kodi, because we love to tinker [WINKING FACE] (otherwise we would all be using PlexHomeTheater lol) on that note... I use PleXBMC to access my PLEX media, everything works really nicely, especially now that you implemented the additional custom widgets. I have now just a few issues that you may be able to assist me with, conscious these maybe addon related and out of your control? but thought I'd inform you anyway... (hope that's ok) 1.) accessing my PleXBMC movies via the widgets displays a mimic default (fallback) image instead of the movie poster when pressing OSD ' i ' Note: when accessing via the menu section and playing a movie the poster is displayed correctly (part correctly)... the image is cropped as its trying to display the poster as landscape rectangle rather than a vertical portrait poster. 2.) when a movie is playing selected from the PleXBMC widgets and fallback is implemented to the home screen the now playing notification displays the movie name as the file name and the movie poster defaults to mimics default image (as per OSD display) ... likewise 1.) when selected from the movies menu instead of a widget, the movie name shows correctly... likewise poster is landscape and cropped. like I said conscious I'm a minority using PleXBMC so please dismiss these issues if out of your control and to much hassle they are only minor, I can live with them. marcel had a few tricks up his sleeve to resolve these issues with Titan PleXBMC should it help. thanks for all your hard work. My guess is that PleXBMC doesn't set the content to movies, tv shows, or episodes and therefore the Plex content is displayed as files. Maybe a skinner with PleXBMC experience can shed some light on this? RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - Kokonutcreme - 2015-08-08 Hi Bryan Installed latest GIT version and noticed that in the fanart view type the plot text is missing and in settings menu, some of the menu text is missing eg. select default number of menu items - you can't see the options to select. Same behaviour for plot display choice. If you try to edit the label of a home menu item there is no text displayed on the keyboard. Thought it was due to changes with colour picker as you provide options for menu and general text but even changing the colour there doesn't change the behaviour. Is anyone else noticing this? RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - braz - 2015-08-08 (2015-08-08, 02:31)Kokonutcreme Wrote: Hi BryanYou need the latest Kodi Isengard nightly for the github version. http://mirrors.kodi.tv/nightlies/win32/KodiSetup-20150801-e9eadf3-Isengard.exe RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - Kokonutcreme - 2015-08-08 Thanks for that will update Kodi RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - braz - 2015-08-08 Recently switched from PVR WMC back to NextPVR. As a results, I've made the NextPVR series record dialog (RecordPrefs.xml) the default for Mimic. Slightly modified the one posted by shaneypoopers, thanks! You'll notice that the same strings show up twice (pre-padding). The second one should be post-padding, but the correct translation hasn't made it into the release yet. It's already been fixed on Transifex. And you'll notice I finally got the genre colors to show up for NextPVR. Still can't get channel logos to show on the channel info dialog though. Not sure what the problem is since they showed up fine with WMC. ![]() If you use PVR WMC, the series record dialogs are still included with the skin. You'll just need to rename the following files, removing the "-wmc" at the end of each. Code: DeleteTimer-wmc.xml RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - pachocco1 - 2015-08-08 Bryan, Excellent skin. Donation submitted to XBMC Foundation in a show of support for your efforts. Thank you, pachocco1 RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - braz - 2015-08-09 (2015-08-08, 22:49)pachocco1 Wrote: Bryan,Thanks, appreciate it! RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - smiffy1989 - 2015-08-09 Any chance of some changes to this: ![]() 1. If you're in a channel group, there is no indication of this and it can be a little confusing; when you press left right to switch, you have no idea which one you are in. Could you add something to show the current channel group? 2. A little transparency on the background? The same sort of level that is on the main menu when you have a video playing in the background. 3. Not sure if this is possbile, but showing what's on next would be cool. I'd hate to lose a channel row in order to display the group label. I did make a change yesterday to how the recording indicator is displayed on this dialog. 2. No plans to change the background, I'd like to keep it consistent with the other sidebars. If you want to change it, try replacing dialog_context.png with background.png in DialogPVRChannelsOSD.xml. Will likely want to also change the colordiffuse variable from ColorDialogVar to ColorBackgroundVar. 3. No plans to show what's on next here, that information is available in full screen info and the seekbar. RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - braz - 2015-08-09 Just a heads up regarding a few recent changes. I removed the paused texture and instead added a paused label to the seekbar. Also reconfigured the music viz settings dialog. RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - braz - 2015-08-09 Since you can no longer press up/down to change the song rating in music viz, I added a couple of buttons to the music OSD to change the rating. Although this screenshot still shows them, I also hid the visualization settings and presets buttons when no visualization is enabled. ![]() Update: Also fixed the music playlist button that wasn't working. RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - serpao - 2015-08-10 EDIT: well, basically, the left side menu doesnt pop. Even if i use arrow keys or the mouse. Any idea? Hi Braz! Thanks for this skin, im testing it right now and looks pretty good. I have a "problem" with the "Music" section. As you can see, when i enter in "music", this appears (instead showing my music directly): ![]() Its weird, cause if i go with the mouse to the left, nothing happens, and i think should be a menu there. If i click on music (already imported and "supposedly" scrapped), this shows: ![]() I cant change that view, (like your image above) and any menu is opened if i go to the left (again). Also, you can see there is so much info losing and with low quality images. Thanks in advance! |
