Anyway, I noticed in this version, when you click a title, it goes to the information screen, and then you can press play. Whereas before it would just play instantly - where is the option to toggle this behaviour?

What your looking for is in settings>media>videos>Default selection action is = show information? If so then change it to play.

Posted this on madvr support thread.  Reposting here as I thought maybe someone here might be able to help. I have a headache from messing with this now.

Hello,

Hoping maybe someone can help, I've been doing 3d mvc for years now with madvr and lav filters on my desktop and lately just using kodi dsplayer with madvr. I bought two laptops to test and one of them I installed kodi dsplayer and madvr and boom 3d is playing like it should. The other laptop no matter what I do it doesn't work.

Both windows 10. 3d display at 1920 is set on both. The working one is a 1920 display laptop. The one that doesn't work has a 4k display on the laptop, don't know if that makes a difference. They are both using intel UHD graphics 620 I believe.

Asus flipbook 14 works
Dell 7391 does not.

Both latest intel I7 10th gen processors.

Any ideas?

Anyone?  Only thing I can think of is it has something to do with the 4K display, the one without it works perfect.

Don't use 3D, sorry. Undecided

Can you point me to or provide me a copy of the official madVR API?

I would like to build the API connection into my own application.

Quoting myself from 2017... I had to do this in the original dsplayer, maybe it’s still required for Blu-ray playback. I haven’t used this version so I don’t know if the setting is exactly same, but the principle should apply. In addition you of course will need the basic player rules so dsplayer is used for everything, but those were mentioned several times in the thread already.

Hi guys,
I need your help: I have installed the KODI 17.7 over the 17.6 last night and since I can not work with the keyboard short cuts for my madVR anymore: e.c. ctrl+j is not working, neither I can switch between the different madVR settings, madVR is running on Windows10 properly.
Any idea what happened here and any solution for the issue?

Thank you all in advance

Katana2

RE: Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 BETTERGUI (2020 build) - robl45 - 2020-08-21

I thought I had posted but I guess not, anyone having any issues with aspect ratios? On the old version I had no problems with stretch 16:9 or even 4:3, now when I do the ratios, and pick stretch 16:9, its making the while picture smaller for whatever reason,  4:3 is ending up off as well as I used to be able to select 4:3 and then zoom to 1.35 to fill the screen as that was a way to get 3d to fill the screen without messing up the 3d.  Is this a known issue with this version?

RE: Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 BETTERGUI (2020 build) - hentai23 - 2020-08-21

yes the aspect and zoom / pixel ratio function is fd up in the most recent release of dsplayer ...nobody has fixed this bug as of yet, ive mentioned this as well, hence why i went back to the previous one for the time being

It's things like these that make me doubt of the wisdom in making this release the "recommended" one over the last from aracnoz. Or was it the same on aracnoz's as well?

Okay, so its not just me, that is good. I can adjust pixel ratio I believe it is and make the screen fill my 16:9 screen (yes I know its blasphemy to screw up the ratio, but I like it) so that at least works for now.  However I watch a lot of 3D and I don't know if that will work for the 3D.

RE: Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 BETTERGUI (2020 build) - hentai23 - 2020-08-25

well that still doesnt really fix it its still fd up nonetheless but if it works for your situation ok ...but yeah still is messed up youll notice this if you have content that uses subs or needs alot of cropping horizontally and vertically such some stuff i have and the aspect ration beeing fd up ontop of that isnt helping
