Bad news for you Kaskade. I wasn't able to recreate your error msg and the inappropriate Heavy Smoking Girl played perfectly on my RPI with OpenELEC 6.0.3 with Kodi 15.2 and my Nexus Player with Jarvis.
You have to sign in with the double verification and have an adult's age in the eyes of Google for the video to play, so I don't know what's happening between you and Google.

I know I MUST be an adult in the eyes of g00gle, and the first thing i checked was (as I read in this thread ) my g00gle+ profile. My birthday was not complete, so I completed it. Then I also read I had to link g00gle+ account with youtube, but since g00gle removed this feature, simply I can't do it. Now I appear as an adult in my g00gle account (I assume g00gle+ and youtube use my g00gle account ) so I don't know what else to do, nor how to get a deeper log.
I use Openelec Milhouse in order to see x.265 720p vids, as I couldn't in previous version, so I'd like not to downgrade, but certainly there's a thing to test

My Guess : those with complete birthday, and linked google+ and youtube accounts can see this vid, while the others completing birthday date now don't.

The auto delete thing has been unchecked & when I do check it I just get the 'item not in playlist' error as soon as the video starts to play & I guess it tries to remove it.
I'm running Windows 7, Confluence Skin, Kodi 16.0 & The latest version of the plugin (5.1.20.5).
I tend to just go through my list of new video's from those i subscribe to & add everything i want to watch to the watch later list to go through when I have time; Removing things as I watch them & its something thats always worked on the kodi plugin until this past week.

Hi folks,
I was several days searching for a method to create an service for the youtube-addon to use the leanback-functions which are implemented in Smart-TVs or e.g. the playstation. Now I'm pretty sure, that this isn't able for us, because the API for this functions aren't public.
So I thinking about, what is wrong to use kore / yatse. Now I know, the main reason what sucks is that the played videos aren't in my history. So I decided to try to insert in the code, but I saw that this is the code already.
In the youtube.py (/storage/.kodi/addons/plugin.video.youtube/resources/lib/youtube/client) there is a function called "update_watch_history(self, video_id)" but it don't work. It don't work with the Youtube Data api (PlaylistItems.Insert) like I though, it tries to open the video_id with youtube.com/tv. Is this a correct way, or a possible way?
I have OpenELEC with Kodi and it runs on an raspberry pi 2

thanks for your reply but there seems no solution.
I tried a little bit with the API explorer and the solution is that I run into permission problems. Seems like with the API you don't have the permissions to write in the watchHistory directly. The guys here have the same problem http://stackoverflow.com/questions/32678696/youtube-api-v3-playlistitem-insert-forbidden-playlistitemsnotaccessible-error
I have a look if I can solve the problem in the code and try to fix bromix solution.

Speaking about refresh video when used favourites.xml A few pages ago someone (not remember who... sorry me friends) speaking about using add-on "Super Favourites" (the add-on whit superman logo). I have installed on my OSMC..... whitout any particular configuration i have started it.
Inside it there is a "Kodi Favourites" section how it's present the same favourites in .xml file.................... i have launch a CHANNEL from it and.............. BAAAAM
i can confirm the video list present in this channel it's correctly refreshed every time and we not be obtain again the cached result like when you use the STOCK KODI favourites menù.At this point we can thinks this is not a add-on bug..... but there's a probally BUG present in main code of KODI or instead on Confluence skin (i have tryed to change and using the stock osmc skin... no solution for this little trouble).
On favourites.xml for channel i have tryed to set all two............. userid and channelid and when you use "Super Favourites" all working good whitout any problems...............

It may work if I could have access to URL. What I do is simply click on a list or a thumbnail.

here is what i'd like you to do.
go to the file manager.
then profile directory
addon_data
look for plugin.video.youtube
delete that folder via the context menu.
then once you've done this, launch the plugin again you'll get prompted to re-do the setup.
If this doesn't work let me know what happens and we're start out from there.
