You guys have done a fantastic job with this skin. I applaud all that have put time in making it the best skin available.
One request I have is to have an option in the addonwall view for 4 columns. I use this view for music and with a 55 inch tv, it looks better than with 3 columns.
Is this possible?

@meowmoo : If you will work tonight on Music Viz, a couple of things :
1) There is overlay between pannel and widget
2) How do you make the photo of an artist appear on magazine, that is the only widget that doesn't work on my end (and I think everything is well tagged and set up with Artist Slideshow)

@MikeDoc : Number 2 has been (I think) fixed with removal of randomandlastitems (see my post earlier)
I don't know what show it is, that's the problem ! (I made a screenshot one hour ago and it displayed some sort of movie widget)

randomandlastitems might be needed, not sure. Artist on magazine isn't connected to artistslideshow. think you need a folder.png in the artists folder but can't confirm right now and it depends on how you've built your music library.

script.skin.helper.service seems to be broken after last update !!! i get errors when i try to use it ( view change with new option ) maybe more ... will check git version and report back

can confirm this:
on windows - works
on OpenElec (linux) - doesnt work ... again some case sensitive crap again i guess ...
because of top250 - works here without any extra addon - but i have a fresh and i think good organised nfo files of my collection - maybe you need the top250 addon if you dont use local nfo files ( or nfos without any top250 infos in it ) - dont know

ok, think uppercase is an issue for either Linux or Openelec and as you corrected one icon by changine O to o I guess there might be more instances?

will test in a cpl of minutes with my OE - ive changed the names to complete lowercase - will report back
and the Git version of script.skin.helper.service is working... so lets hope the git version will be fixed soon

Regarding missing backgrounds, I found some time last night to figure out why it happens - though not what can be done about it. All the backgrounds that are going missing have a colordiffuse applied to them from a variable - often, but not exclusively, $VAR[ColorDiffuseVar]. That $VAR[] in turn calls multiple other $VAR[]'s to get the final color to be applied. When the backgrounds stop displaying, the $VAR[] has stopped returning any value, so Kodi is applying an empty colordiffuse, and so making the backgrounds invisible.

@pustekuchen, I would suggest looing into your keymap.xml or keyboard.xml and mapping something specific for your remote to activate the I key? can you supply a screenshot please for you landscape issue.

about the remote issue:
there is know chance to specific the remote. The only way is to buy some hardware like an USB ir receiver.
Everybody with an android device (like NVIDIA shield e.g.) will have the same issue.
You guys will make many people happy if there is a solution without buying new hardware for one remote button

The landscape "issue" (it's not really an issue, it's more a lost service)
as you can see there is no title in this picture because this is a fanart and no landscape
here you can see that the landscape place is empty. In this case the old version had put the logo on the fanart and build a landscape by its own

At the moment I found only the resume and new icon issue, can you tell me the name of the new icon overlay.
I will try to copy it in tothe media folder.
