As long as Deinterlace is set to Auto which it should be - the Motion Compensated does not influence anything. But yeah - settings are fine.

Same settings here. Are you sure, that it doesn't skip some frames while playing the 60fps version? Maybe it's the RAM, I only have a single 4 GB module.

Yeah - dual channel is required for the 60p - which was found by our testing (also somewhere in this thread).

I have 2 x 4Gb sticks in it, so that probably does make the difference.
ASRock did produce their own video to show the benefits of dual channel memory.

sorry if this question have already answered here I tried to find something with keyword "restart" but did not find an answer.
Can someone help me to get this solved: I wanted to have an automatic restart if Kodi breaks or is left via the EXIT button. I am pretty sure this was implemented in the 14.04 release provided by Fritsch but with this tutorial is does not work.

try changing this in the systemd service file:
Restart = on-abort
to
Restart = always

Once again I vanish for a while ("don't fix what ain't broke") and when I come back, everything's changed!
I'm still running some pretty gnarly beta OE builds from Fritsch dated last october, and I'm thinking it's about time I updated, especially since I'm at least a generation behind.
Is all of this (particularly the limited color range flag) now stock in OpenElec? Also, Fritsch, which do YOU prefer: Open or Libre? I trust your opinion the most...

Okay, thanks. Would you say v17 is good enough for a "not going to wreck movie night" installation? Although now that I look, I don't see any x86 v16 builds from Milhouse.

I have an AAC 5.1 sound issue.
When I play any video with AAC 5.1 audio (Dolby 5.1 and DTS is fine), it seems only to output 2 of the channels of sound at full volume.
Other elements, especially voices are so low in the mix that they are barely audible.
I have used the Tears of Steel test file to replicate (TearsOfSteelFull12min_1080p_24fps_27qp_1474kbps_GPSNR_42.29_HM11.mkv) but is the same with any file that I try.
I have the Beebox N3150 setup as a dual boot with Windows and the files play fine through 16.1 Kodi in Windows, so that should rule out the external equipment as having any kind of fault or incompatibility.

Does it get better if you set speaker numbers to 2.0 and enable AC3 Transcoding?
