It's a cool little app and it's a shame that it rotted for so long. I appreciate very much that someone is taking care now.
But there are two issues: 1. It doesn't recognize CD1..CDX movie folder structures where every part has it's own folder and stack them. 2. It doesn't recognize folder structures with series where each episode has its own folder like this seriesX/seasony/episodeZ/epZ.avi

Do you think that can and will be fixed in in a not too distant future? That would spare me with writing an own hacky script and the shame to remember my poor coding skills.

Anyway I'm glad that some picked up developing again at last.
And btw "Hello everyone" to the forum as this is my first post.

I don't know if XBMC can even handle stacked folders... I always convert to .ISO instead of VIDEO_TS and put all them in the same folder for this reason...

- brainsucker1 - 2012-01-12

It does pretty well: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=File_stacking

Another thing I came across: Title tokens like the, a or an that are listed to be ignored are moved at the end in the normal title which looks rather stupid at the tv. The sorttitle attribute is made for this.

Anyway to sort movies by audio?
I want to filter for 2.0/mp3 because I thought everything was 5.1 and I want to update them.

Running 1.3.0.2 on Windows Server 2008 R2

I figured it out, I was forcing the title language as USA

Anyone have any success getting the latest version to batch scrape large movie libraries? I can't get it to run cleanly without crashing... thinking about trying a old version. Sad

I scraped the country and entire cast for my 1000 movies yesterday with no problems whatsover. I'm using 1.3.0.3 Exp.

So I don't think it's got anything to do with the version. What you could try is to reduce the amount of items being scraped in one batch. It reduced the workload and might have an impact on the stability.

Field is missing, how i get it there? Seen it few times in other movies..

I just checked with 1.3.0.2 and I have the field 100% using default scraper btw.

Is there an option to make Youtube the default for trailers so it can be added to the nfo instead of IMDB as IMDB urls time out. I can do it manually, but I've 650 movies so manual isn't really an option. I'd be happy with the first Youtube video it finds.

Hello to everyone,
I'm new to this forum, firstly I would like to thank for picking up EMM and continuing the development as it deserves to be.

I've been happily using it for some time (v. 1.2421 and olympia 1.5) with no problems until a few days ago when I noticed that it wouldn't pick up te genres anymore and would just insert none, it was very time consuming to edit the genres manually.
After a little research I found this new version (1.302) which works well with one exception: it doesn't recognize the DTS-HD MA audio codec and always interprets it for plain DTS, therefore I've have to manually edit the audio stream and change the codec to dtsma.
I've also tried the new experimental version 1.303 but it actually picks up the DTS-HD MA for dca so it's not a fix...

Version1.2421 still picks up the right codec.

Has anyone got some suggestion please??

Thanks.

I always edit the genres manually anyways; IMDB seems to add "romance" to any movie with a tiny love subplot, and 'action' to lots of non-action movies, etc...

Hmm genre sraping seems to work fine for me.
But I scrape genre from OFDB.

i'm trying to switch over from MC7+MB7 to XBMC,

most of my movies are stored in blu-ray folder structure.

it seems that Ember saves the info in BDMV/STREAMS and it should save be placed in the BDMV folder.

Also confirmed for artwork (fanart.jpg and so on)

Should be stored in:
PHP Code:
MOVIES/MOVIENAME/BDMV/
MOVIES/MOVIENAME/VIDEO_TS
