OK. Internationals are a bit hit and miss because the database i use only lists club and not country. I try using nationality as a back-up but it doesn't always work.

It should do, yes. However, I have no easy way of testing it.
What version of Kodi are you running?
Are you able you access the log and show me the error?

no its ok iwent back a couple of pages and saw your 0.4.6 version and have installed it and im not getting errors now, roll on 12 o clock, i'll keep you posted, wicked addon mate btw

Good news!
It's worth mentioning that the BBC are previewing a new live scores page. If they retire the old ones then this script may break.

I'm confident I could update the code to get it to work but I have very little spare time at the moment which is the real problem.
Fingers crossed they don't change the site!

Bad news #1: Current add-on is broken.
Good news #1: It should be possible to fix (new website provides a huge amount of info)
Bad news #2: It's going to take a long time to fix the code (because I'm very busy)

This is quite frustrating. I can't get the site to give me consistent updates.
The links sometimes give the full data and other times they're empty. It's going to slow down the script if I have to keep retrying pages until they return something and will be hard to distinguish between scenarios where there's no data because the team isn't playing (in which case we don't need to keep polling the site) or because I was just unlucky and got no response (in which case we do want to keep polling).

Not given up but just haven't had the time to look at this properly.
I really need to rewrite my parsing code from scratch (as the old one was cobbled together over a number of years and was just horrendously ugly).
I'll get there, but don't hold your breath!
