RE: IPTV Merge - Obsidian1 - 2022-05-18 Hi, thanks for this great addon! This is my first post on this forum...I'm not sure if this the correct place to post my question. The question/issue is that every time Kodi starts/reboots/powers up the IPTV Simple Client (ISC) does not automatically reset its paths to the IPTV Merge EPG/M3U output LOCAL paths. I have ticked all the boxes that would seem to force ISC to automatically reset its paths to LOCAL. Unfortunately, this does not happen. Instead, I need to open ISC's settings and reset the EPG/MU3 paths to LOCAL versus remote. This is because my IPTV service provider also uses ISC. When Kodi starts my IPTV service provider sets ISC's EPG/M3U paths to remote URLs. This behavior is present on both my Kodi Windows10 and Android (11) setups. I'm unable to figure out how to prevent my IPTV service provider from resetting ISC's EPG/M3U paths to REMOTE URLs. Could it be possible to add an option, you could tick, to "Setup IPTV Simple Client" whenever Kodi starts...or, something like that? Or any ideas for a work around? Thank you! RE: IPTV Merge - matthuisman - 2022-05-18 Why not add your provider urls into IPTV merge? Oh, is it an addon that automatically changes it? RE: IPTV Merge - Obsidian1 - 2022-05-19 Thank you for such a prompt response! YES, it is a video addon installed via my IPTV service provider's Kodi repository. So, every time Kodi starts the IPTV video addon calls ISC and resets/sets the EPG/M3U paths to remote URLs. This action loads thousands of unwanted channels. I use M3U4U to parse these channels into something manageable. The M3U4U EGP output doesn't include EPG data for two desired channels. I use your addon to merge a second EPG source (EZ_Ripper...) that does have the EPG data for those two desired channels. If I use just the M3U4U EPG/M3U files, and merge the M3U4U EPG with the second EPG source, WITHOUT installing the IPTV provider's video add on then all is fine. The problem tho, is if I don't install the IPTV service video addon, then I lose all the VOD and TV Series available via my IPTV service provider. And, that is the dilemma... Thank you! RE: IPTV Merge - olivercast - 2022-05-20 I am having audio problems. When I switch a channel from Samsung or Pluto to something in zattoo PVR - there is no sound. I am forced to change channels within Zattoo for it to work. The only way that I have figured how to deal with this issue is by disabling "Use Inputstream HLS for Live Streams" in the Samsung and Pluto Addon settings. Doing this however, I have noticed that it takes a longer time to load and play. RE: IPTV Merge - rosede - 2022-05-23 Hello, I started using Stremium along with IPTV Merge to ingrate Sling and local program into a nice guide. Works great. Thank you for this great add-on. I have a couple of questions about recordings. Before, when I was using cable (via NextPVR and a cable card), I would be able to record a program from my remote. Now that I stated using this add-on, I can no longer do that. I have to get up from my easy chair, walk over to my desk, log into either sling, nextpvr, or stremium, and search for the program and click record. kind a pain in the you know what. Is there a way to record from my remote like I used to be able to do? If so, I'm not able to find an option allowing recording. Also, if I record something from a Stremium channel, how can I access the recordings from within the add-on? I have not been able to find any DVR or recordings? I can access Sling, because I have a separate sling add-on providing that access and I still use NextPVR for my local channels, and I can access those recordings, I just can't find the recordings for Stremium. Thanks RE: IPTV Merge - matthuisman - 2022-05-24 No sorry. IPTV merge does nothing in regards to recordings. My streamium addon is also just for live channels only. Does not do recordings. Both are things I have no plans on changing unfortunately RE: IPTV Merge - rosede - 2022-05-24 (2022-05-24, 08:38)matthuisman Wrote: No sorry. IPTV merge does nothing in regards to recordings. Daryl RE: IPTV Merge - olivercast - 2022-05-25 @matthuisman: Hi first thanks for this great addon! maybe my previous post was not clear. Me and my friends have 2 problems with your addons and hope you can help us in order to resolve them, I have installed IPTV merged with Samsung addon and Pluto Addon from your repo. The first problem happen often is when while watch a Pluto channel in PVR and the advertises happen the video freeze on advertises and I have to change the channel and then return to it in order to let it work again (Could be a inputstream problems?). The second problem is that when I merge Pluto Playlist or Samsung Playlist or both and I have also Zattoo Pvr addon installed when I switch from a samsung channel or from a pluto channel into a zattoo PVR channel I lose the audio. In order to let it work I have to disable the Inputstream in the Pluto addon and/or in Samsung addon. I hope you can help me in order to solve this annoying problem. RE: IPTV Merge - olivercast - 2022-05-25 Just to be more clear the audio problems with Merged IPTV and Pluto Playlist merged and the official Zattoo PVR installed disappear when I disable the key "Use Inputstream HLS for live stream" in Pluto Addon. Unfortunately, if I leave "inputstream" disabled to remedy the audio problems, I encounter other types of problems such as that the channel takes a long time to start or the channel starts but only audio and no images. RE: IPTV Merge - matthuisman - 2022-05-26 Both of those issues sound like inputstream adaptive problems or Kodi core. Switching from an inputstream adaptive to a pvr channel should work. So seems like a bug somewhere. Out of my hands though sorry. The adverts issue is due to x-discontinuity. Kodi 19 made improvement to support that and I think Kodi 20 may be better again. I'm actually talking about the version of inputstream adaptive they include RE: IPTV Merge - matthuisman - 2022-05-26 @rosede To answer you a bit better. Recording is something the actual pvr addon would be tasked with. Merge just merges playlists and epgs and passes them to IPTV simple client pvr client for playback. Pretty sure that project has no intention of adding recording. I do know there is an addon that can add recording for some streams (not encrypted). Search the forums for IPTV recorder . Streamium recording playback would be possible. But would only be inside the addon. I'd also need access to a stremium login that has recordings to test with etc. RE: IPTV Merge - davidmguest - 2022-06-22 I have one local m3u8 playlist and several url epg sources. When the same channel id appears in more than one epg, how can I control which epg is used for that channel? eg. EPG1 and EPG2 both contain "ChannelID1" and "ChannelID2". I wish to use EPG1 for ChannelID1 and EPG2 for ChannelID2. Can I do this, and if so, how? Thanks in advance. RE: IPTV Merge - matthuisman - 2022-06-22 You can use manage tv to change the epg Id for channels. Find channel then context menu RE: IPTV Merge - davidmguest - 2022-06-22 Yes, I can do that but then the channel's epg id would not match the id in either of the epgs. I cannot change the channel id in the epgs as they are from iptv-org RE: IPTV Merge - matthuisman - 2022-06-22 Are the epg ids the same in both epgs? If yes, I see no way of currently doing what you need I plan to eventually have the epgs linked (part of) the playlist entry. I then append the playlist Id to all channels.and epg entries so they don't interfere with each other. If this was the case, you could add the playlist twice and assign different epg to each, and then hide / show channels.from.each |
