Hey, thanks, this might be an answer to my problem..I will experinement with this.. - JDzz - 2010-12-31 Is there a way to use a different player when playing videos files such as mpc-hc? - Targettio - 2010-12-31 JDzz Wrote:Is there a way to use a different player when playing videos files such as mpc-hc? http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Advancedsettings.xml#.3Cexternalplayer.3E But not really relevant to this thread. - JDzz - 2010-12-31 I should have posted more info. I have the playercorefactory file already edited for 1080, 720 etc to open mpc-hc. I changed the file name of my intros to include 720 and 1080 but then mpc-hc would not open. When I hit the "reel" button I see the script start but then nothing. When I changed the file names back to what they were originally it worked as it should and loaded the default XBMC player up. I thought there might be another setting somewhere to get this to work or something. Thanks for any help. BTW here is my playercorefactory file..... - <playercorefactory> - <players> - <player name="MPC-HC" type="ExternalPlayer" audio="false" video="true"> <filename>C:\Program Files (x86)\Media Player Classic - Home Cinema\mpc-hc.exe</filename> <args>"{1}" /fullscreen /close</args> <hidexbmc>false</hidexbmc> <hideconsole>false</hideconsole> <warpcursor>none</warpcursor> </player> </players> - <rules action="prepend"> <rule filetypes="m2ts|ts|mkv|VC-1" player="MPC-HC" /> <rule filename=".*720.*|.*1080.*" player="MPC-HC" /> </rules> </playercorefactory> - JDzz - 2010-12-31 Sorry nevermind for the question above I changed the name of the file but forgot to load the new file back into the script via the settings. :o Working fine now. - SlaveUnit - 2010-12-31 Any way to have the COUNTDOWN option let you select a folder and not just 1 file? I have a few I wouldn't mind cycling through. - giftie - 2010-12-31 SlaveUnit Wrote:Any way to have the COUNTDOWN option let you select a folder and not just 1 file? Next version(1.0.9) not far off.. - s_inman - 2010-12-31 Hi all, I have the script working for DTS, Dolby, Trailers and intros etc but I cant get the Ratings to work, any ideas? I have my files named as the structure on page 1 of this thread. I use BBFC ratings within XBMC. Many thanks. - ackbarr - 2010-12-31 s_inman Wrote:Hi all, Cinema Experience only handles MPAA ratings at the moment. Support for BBFC ratings is in the works though. http://code.google.com/p/xbmc-addons/issues/detail?id=74&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Owner%20Summary - Oddsodz - 2011-01-01 I was just about to post about BBFC Ratings. I Was going to ask as I could not get them to work. But I see now that it is not working anyway right now and so it is not me at fault. But just so we all know. What are the naming formats for BBFC ratings video files? Also, on a side note. Has anybody seen a good pack for the old UK "Peal & Dean" advertisements? Hope somebody has a few answers. Oddsodz - giftie - 2011-01-01 Oddsodz Wrote:I was just about to post about BBFC Ratings. We probably will follow the norm with the following: Rated U Rated 12 Rated 12A Rated 15 Rated 18 Rated PG These will be fairly easy to match up to MPAA's. I believe one(or more, SlaveUnits does have BBFC videos) of the packs available for download already has files that can be used. |
