I've got the channels set up to open a stream via tuxbox from my DM500 - the streams work fine however they play with subtitles. How can I stop the subtitles from being displayed? Where are the configs stored for streaming the channel selected in TV Guide? Maybe there is a options on the stream which is set and pulling down the subtitles so I could possibly manually edit it? Streaming directly through Tuxbox alone doesn't display any subtitles. Thanks in advance. Beltin. RE: [RELEASE] TV Guide - with XMLTV and streaming support - maly95 - 2013-02-17 Apple TV 2 after adding the xml file from the link url pops problem "Ops something went wrong." Try to fix it. I can help you as a tester. RE: [RELEASE] TV Guide - with XMLTV and streaming support - VanZan - 2013-02-18 Using this with FilmOn. Two questions: Is there any way I can see the channel logos? Secondly I'm only interested in the best twenty two UK channels....what options would be best in mc2xml please? (I can list the 22 channels but rest assured they're the decent ones). Thanks RE: [RELEASE] TV Guide - with XMLTV and streaming support - umonkey - 2013-02-18 Hi Tommy, I'm really enjoying you add-on but have a few issues. i'm using the guide with the filmon plugin and all work but when I first load up and select a channel i get a script error from filmon if I select the same channel again it work fine and does until next time i load up the tv guide very strange? guess this might be a filmon problem? Also i have some other streams which i select from my favourites, when i select them and check the preview before saving the channel they work but once saved and i click this channel just get a black screen for a few seconds then back to the guide. i have played around with this and it seems to be something to do with the alternative streaming method as when this is not selected these channels work but then the filmon channel don't work? Any ideas what this might be? Thanks Again i'm using ver 2.0.1 on both atv2 and windows. RE: [RELEASE] TV Guide - with XMLTV and streaming support - jcaa6479 - 2013-02-23 Tommy : Just wondered if there is an easy way to get rid of the double hour bug on both the timeline and program time when running 24 hour format ? Thanks for a wonderful addon and keep up the great work ur doing RE: [RELEASE] TV Guide - with XMLTV and streaming support - patelhe - 2013-02-24 Can someone explain to me exactly how to add a favorites strm. I am trying to match by name strms in an xml file to the channel names. But do not know how to get the strm xml file to load into the plugin. RE: [RELEASE] TV Guide - with XMLTV and streaming support - webewitch - 2013-02-27 Hi Newbie here. I have osx and I can't figure out how to use m2xml as a command line program. What do I use and how do I open the thing to enter the commands? RE: [RELEASE] TV Guide - with XMLTV and streaming support - OldTerrier - 2013-03-02 A quick question, do I need the development version to use with the Filmon addon ? Also does it run on Frodo or just Eden ? Cheers RE: [RELEASE] TV Guide - with XMLTV and streaming support - docsane - 2013-03-03 Hi there, I'm very new using TV Guide, so excuse me if this has been asked previously. I'm running the plug-in on a Raspberry Pi using OpenElec. I generated an XMLTV file using mc2xml with the controls -s -5 -d 10 to minimize the amount of data to load. This generated a 4MB XML file that took TV Guide about 15 minutes to load. Is it normal for it to take that long with so little data? (edit) Okay, having now used this after the loading finished, I have a couple more questions. First, while my .strm files play without any problems through XBMC's files player, I'm getting all sorts of freezes and glitches on HD channels when played through TV Guide. Second, how do I automate refreshing the XML file for the program guide? RE: [RELEASE] TV Guide - with XMLTV and streaming support - scs4ldb - 2013-03-05 Hi, I'm new and apologies if this has been asked previously; I've been through about the first and last 15 pages of this thread and I don't seem to have found my issue mentioned. I've just installed the TV Guide add-on and it looks great and works with xmltv etc., but I don't seem to be able to use it to tune Live TV (i.e. PVR Client) to any of the channels. I get the option of 'Watch [Channel]' but it's disabled with just options for adding streams available. Have I missed a trick somewhere? Thanks in advance, Louis RE: [RELEASE] TV Guide - with XMLTV and streaming support - twinther - 2013-03-06 Hi all, A new test version (2.0.1) is up in my beta repo: http://tommy.winther.nu/xbmc/ Only minor fixes as you can see. If you need the Eden version, you'll have to get it directly from github. Version 2.0.1 - 2013-03-06 - Fixed minor problems with stream setup UI - Fixed problem with the hour being displayed twice in start/end times - Update language files from Transifex I'll send this to the official repo soon unless I get any major error reports. I am using a custom xml file with streams in it. Hi, perhaps I already this on my blog, but here goes again The favourites tab is populated with streams from the favourites functionality in XBMC. In many places you can favourite the currently selected item in XBMC from the context menu. If the item is playable it will appear in the TV Guide. Alternatively you can insert the favourites yourself in the XBMC’s favourites.xml file in ~/.xbmc/userdata/favourites.xml (2013-02-25, 04:32)en0x Wrote: Hi, Have you tried the alternate streaming options in the TV Guide settings? The Watch [Channel] button is greyed out until you setup a stream for that channel, which you do with the button just below the other one. Br. Tommy |
