Your episodes are not added into the library properly and therefore have no fanart. Although it should have defaulted back to your menu background not just black, I'll have to look at that.

Few years back I was a big fan of DVD cases, now not fussed and will go with the flow.

Tnx, It's not only episodes, it's Movies too. I enter my movies from Videos/files
Bagground path for videos is Standard, If I choose theme then I get the normal blue baggroud

I think in the next update that'll be fixed - Found a small typo in the background code that was causing black screens.

but as you say:

Just noticed something odd. I assume this happened at noon when AM changed to PM. Tried going to screens which don't show the clock and back again, including starting media playback, to no avail. A reboot took care of it.

Mudislander, if you can update this list you started earlier with what you've nailed down and what to-do's have been added since, I can maintain it going forward.

Okay final decision
I reverted back to Confluence gears about 2hrs ago and decided after having the logo for the last couple of days I much prefer the logo.I don't think it's worth a setting, so the guys that prefer the gears will have to copy that image to their backgrounds folder. CCM will be using this logo image.

Hate to sound like a total noob here, but...
I've installed this skin on a OUYA and Windows Laptop running Win8. I've been following this thread from the beginning and decided it was time to try it out. Problem is... I have no shortcuts? I've set them in the settings, but nothing shows up. I havn;t made many changes to the settings otherwise.
I downloaded and installed the skin via Hybrid repo. Not sure how to tell which version I'm on.

A to do list cool, a posting here every couple of days would be brilliant - Don't want to totally take over the Confluence thread. It helps as I don't have the time to keep going back over posts to find any issues. So any bugs reported just get added and once they're exterminated? they get crossed off eg:

Have all been done. Maybe we could whack in "Black Screen's" under backgrounds, think they're now working but will have to wait for next update to make sure.

Welcome to the forums, Problem is I don't have a OUYA or Win8 to check for you. I've had problems with both of those in the past, so if anyone has any ideas feel free to jump in.
As a starting point could you try to post a copy of your "guisettings.xml" file. We should be able to at least check the initial settings were created.
Also just to check - when you say shortcuts we talking about the addons placed on your home screen?
