RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - Matt Devo - 2015-04-30 did you use the image version of the installer, like I said? RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - busta.rhymes - 2015-04-30 You wont believe me when i tell you It must of been Display port. I have it hooked to the tv now and It works now RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - Matt Devo - 2015-04-30 (2015-04-30, 18:53)busta.rhymes Wrote: You wont believe me when i tell you IT must of been Display port. I have it hooked to the tv now and IT works. no, I won't, since I literally have OE running on my ChromeBox on the screen next to me, connected to the monitor via DisplayPort. I even did a fresh install of OE 5.0.8 to ensure there wasn't an issue with the installer. RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - busta.rhymes - 2015-04-30 I have the Monitor Set to displayport 2.0... Maybe that was the prob. I Googled the error and It said something about composit. So that why i asumed something wrong with output. Now i have kodi setup. But now i need Help getting the ps3 remote to work. PS3 remote info is in the wiki RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - busta.rhymes - 2015-04-30 Yes it says press and hold Start to pair. I Do this But nothing happens. Is there a Bluetooth switch in openelec? RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - busta.rhymes - 2015-04-30 Found it! System -> openelec RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - Matt Devo - 2015-04-30 It's all listed in the wiki my friend RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - busta.rhymes - 2015-04-30 Somehow i just dont seem to understand manythings so quick... and i was in quite a hurry today because my child was making it hard here. But everything worked out nicely. Thx As of now i am getting into the wikis a bit more intense. I loaded a very high Bitrate file 120 Mbps Jellyfish to see what the Box is capable of. I wanted to stream it over my 1Gbit Network from my nas but the file just gets stuck Edit: Nevermind i double checked and set elec to 1000 Mbit Mode via SSH connection just to make sure. And i dont know if that was the case but know it streams the 120 Mbit file from my nas like its chewing bubble gum! Just Awesome! RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - nickr - 2015-04-30 It is not weak, but 120 Mbps is an unrealistic and silly test. Max bit rate from bluray is 48Mbps. RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - busta.rhymes - 2015-04-30 Yeah i got it working though .... I put in these commands via SSH to set openelec to gigabit mode. http://wiki.openelec.tv/index.php/Configuring_Gigabit_Ethernet Dont know what was the issue but now it chews through that shit like nothing I am very very happy with the Chromebox from what ive seen in theese hours RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - KPunks - 2015-05-01 for some reason my dual boot stopped working, it boots into openelec however Cntrl L to go into chromeOS isn't working, unplugged all USB/power etc any ideas what may be causing it? Thank you. RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - Matt Devo - 2015-05-01 (2015-04-30, 22:11)busta.rhymes Wrote: Yeah i got it working though .... mine defaults to gigabit, not sure why yours doesn't. BUt yes, trying to stream a 120Mbps file over a 100Mbps connection is likely to be problematic (2015-05-01, 02:46)KPunks Wrote: for some reason my dual boot stopped working, it boots into openelec however Cntrl L to go into chromeOS isn't working, unplugged all USB/power etc any ideas what may be causing it? Thank you. As noted in the Wiki and OP, CTRL-L boots the ChromeBox in Legacy boot mode, ie OpenELEC/Ubuntu etc. CTRL-D boots ChromeOS in Developer mode RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2015/04/27] - KPunks - 2015-05-01 (2015-05-01, 02:50)Matt Devo Wrote:(2015-04-30, 22:11)busta.rhymes Wrote: Yeah i got it working though .... apologies typeo on my part i meant CNTL-D Jesus christ, edit again D not B lol |
