ok, you are right, let's do it step by step.

well, when switching from channel 1 to channel 2 (both includes media on my LAN and are DIRECTORY's type) i get black screen in latest version, in 0.3.8 it works fine,
maybe the problem is the hebrew in the path....

There was mad praising at the start lol! That's why I got out of programming and into the medical field! Sorry man, I can picture you at the computer cussing at the computer looking at lines of code. That was me! I sucked at it and had an epiphany. BTW, EPG lag happens going through my music library. I'm an amateur DJ/Producer so I have every type of genre out there and each in their own folder. So I have about 30 channels of my library music. The EPG lags and then becomes unresponsive trekking through these channels.

Does the music channels even work? last I tested them they generated the genre channels, but didn't fill them...

I'm working on an epg speed tweak for the next update... problem is when a channel has to many little videos or media... xbmc has to draw each box which can tax the system when added to all the other channels you have.

I was looking forward to the F.T.V., would you be open to a possible PTVL "Black Box" fork? I'm guessing you wouldn't want to maintain two separate forks (and the users/bugs that come with that). Advanced users will find ways of adding 'other content', but adding autotuned channels with epg info is beyond my skills.

if i have a playlist that contains some movies scraped with hebrew name and some english, PseudoTV show "adding X movies" where X is probably the correct full number but the epg show only the english titles

don't remember what channel was it, now i deleted all and this is the only channel (channel 1)

I am trying to determine how PTVL handles episode runtime (from local NFO) when there are multiple episodes per file. Is it worth it to manually add the runtime for each episode or will PTVL just play the entire file regardless?

I thought that this was an issue of cache(when enabled).Am I wrong?
