Thanx for your quick reply, yes this / separates year and runtime. I will post my problem to the skin thread. Anyway thanx - lestat1977uk - 2010-05-08 Hi All Just wanted to say loving the direction Ember is going, really becoming a great piece of software, don't think could handle all my media without it, thanks guys. Just wondering one thing though is everyone still having problems with trailers? I know it is an external issue. Update: A little more info on this http://forums.themoviedb.org/topic/1069/trailers-error-broken-trailer-urls-travis-see-this/ p.s Olympia and Myrison - Don't worry just asking , don't want to start another war - olympia - 2010-05-08 lestat1977uk Wrote:Hi All Hmmmm... Why are you asking about something what is so obvious? How on earth would it be possible that trailers are OK for anyone, if the trailer links are broken? I know, I understand that you are just asking, but it is like you would ask if green is green for everyone... And it is also important you to understand that it won't be fixed. It can't. The only way to fix this is to manually update ALL trailer links on tmdb. TMDB is edited by the community, you can't expect it to be solved anyone else other than the community. Folliwing the link you posted you can get to an other thread where you can see some volunteering to remove incorrect trailer links, someone has to put the correct one back, maybe you can volunteer? http://forums.themoviedb.org/topic/1066/incorrect-trailers/ - lestat1977uk - 2010-05-08 Hi Olympia Actually i was asking so that everyone would get onboard and start helping fix the links (i also noticed somebody else appeared to be experiencing the issue), i was actually hoping you wouldn't feel the need to answer and other people would help in fixing the problem. I have already started helping to do this by updating the Trailer links on TMDB. So far i have fixed Update Also added trailers for Edge of Darkness Veronika Decides to Die 44 Inch Chest Give em Hell Malone Hope that helps everyone, i will continue to fix more as and when i can. - olympia - 2010-05-08 I hadn't felt the need to answer if you would have show up with the great proposal you just did in your second post. Something like "Hey guys, we all know for now, that trailer links on tmdb got broken recently. Let's come together and fix as many links as we can, this will also make Ember able to get those trailers." Asking a general question "Just wondering one thing though is everyone still having problems with trailers?" haven't pointed into that direction, rather make us feel you still expect some generic solution at once to this (even if not from Ember end). Anyhow, your initiation in the second post is great and I encourage everybody to follow lestat1977uk in his mission! - lestat1977uk - 2010-05-08 Well i can't say i totally agree with you, but hey let's get these sorted. Be nice to have trailers again - diemos - 2010-05-08 Are there any plans to add recursive scanning to TV shows? It would amazing. - andyblac - 2010-05-08 diemos Wrote:Are there any plans to add recursive scanning to TV shows? It would amazing. do you mean multiple scraping ?, recursive scanning works already. ie one source (T:\) all subs folders are scanned into database. but your have to scape show by show (one at a time). i think multiple sapping is set for 1.3 release http://www.embermm.com/issues/368 - olympia - 2010-05-09 andyblac Wrote:do you mean multiple scraping ?, recursive scanning works already. No, he is right. There is no recursive scanning for TV shows yet. Recursive is only possible for Movies currently. - davidaq - 2010-05-09 just upgraded to 1.2, and have a problem with the way ember is stacking some files. all files labeled CD02, CD03 are now appearing as separate films in my list..(CD1, CD2 still stack correctly and show only the one film) eg - in the old version a 2 disk copy of a film ie: Avatar.CD01.avi, Avatar.CD02.avi would just appear as Avatar, but now it is showing up as two seperate films - Avatar and Avatar 2. Is there a way I can change the stacking options back? - olympia - 2010-05-09 davidaq Wrote:just upgraded to 1.2, and have a problem with the way ember is stacking some files. all files labeled CD02, CD03 are now appearing as separate films in my list..(CD1, CD2 still stack correctly and show only the one film) Please file a bug on our tracker on this, but please also mention that this only occurs when all the movies are in a single folder. According to my testing I can reproduce it in this case, but can't if the files are in their own folder. I.e. Movies Source --Avatar ----Avatar.CD01.avi ----Avatar.CD02.avi works. - andyblac - 2010-05-09 olympia Wrote:No, he is right. There is no recursive scanning for TV shows yet. I have done a few in boxset manager but they always pick out the first one. I have managed to find the boxset image and would like that first then adding ther seperate posters for each film when you click to go inside. Thanks - olympia - 2010-05-09 andyblac Wrote:then i dont understand the question. my setup is like this and works perfectly. Your setup is the recommended one thus fully supported. andyblac Wrote:so does he mean T:\ would be say genres and those those tvshow name folders etc, etc, so you are saying that atm EMM would try to parse the root folders always as tvshow names and not look in the sub-folders for them if none found. Yes, that is correct, first level under the source always threated as TV show folder, but you cannot either have your episodes in subfolders under season folders for example. |
