- rflores2323 - 2010-05-27 How do i upgrade to a new release on ubuntu using mono? - MarkTaunton - 2010-05-27 gabbott Wrote:It uses the nfo files when you add those movies to your library. For example directory called FAMILY MOVIES I have used Ember and scrapped the movies, so I have the nfo files. Without setting content, it does not find any movies, even though the nfo is there. When I set content to movies, it brings up a list such as IMDB and a few others. When I select one of those, it scrapes a seperate nfo file as well, and uses that rather than the nfo file from Ember. So not 100% sure about how to get XBMC to scrape my hard drive, rather than scrape IMDB when I already have nfo files in the directory. Hope this makes sense? - MarkTaunton - 2010-05-27 It's ok I've found the very long winded and complicated answer ![]() You need to sync Ember with XMBC set up passwords this that and the other, provide a retinal scan and bio metric fingerprinting, before you can use the nfo files from Ember. Hopefully the next version of XMBC shall be able to do direct imports from nfo files. - myrison - 2010-05-28 Really? For me, none of the above has ever been necessary. Create the NFO files, go into XBMC, click "update library," done. - PhilYHC - 2010-05-28 it could be that your .nfo file is not set to "movie.nfo" i noticed there was a couple of differant naming options during the setup. - Silverskool - 2010-05-28 Really great program, but one small wish from my side: It is possible to add an option to create banner.jpg and fanart.jpg for TV Shows? For some views there are different named jpegs required. Is there any chance for the next update to implemenent this option? - myrison - 2010-05-28 FYI, there is a feature request section on Ember's website, they generally ask that you post suggestions like this there to get the most visibility and tracking. - BORIStheBLADE - 2010-05-29 I'm having some issues with a new setup. I built a new PC with x64 Win 7. I downloaded the latest Ember installer and when I use the program right from the install it works, but when I quit I can't find the program on my pc. Its like it got deleted after using it. I have been using your program for a while and know my way around it but this is weird. Any help would be appreciated. thanks - SirBC - 2010-05-29 nul7 Wrote:There is a movie list exporter built into Ember: I am running 2292 (Windows x64) and I don't have the Export Movie List in the Tools menu. I've also installed "Ember HTML Exporter (x64)" module but I'm still not seeing it. - SirBC - 2010-05-29 BORIStheBLADE Wrote:I'm having some issues with a new setup. I enabled actors cache but it doesn't scrape for it when I do an automatic scrape. It only scrapes it if I do a single movie scrape where I have to choose the poster and fanart manually. Am I doing something wrong or is that it's normal function? Thanks. - Nuno - 2010-05-30 redcliff Wrote:Hello, What automatic scraper you using? - kri kri - 2010-05-30 Is it possible to scan the meta data of a DVD movie in my optical drive or do I need to manually enter it into the Meta Data tab? |
