Is there any way to get the Pause SABnzbd service to pause/resume when only streaming online content?

I have made the code changes and everything is ready in the master branch on github. Will update the repo tomorrow. The default behavior is now to only pause/throttle on online content.

Thanks a lot. I will give it a go.

RE: [RELEASE] SABnzbd - T800 - 2013-02-28

Tried it, works perfectly, thanks again. This will change the way I do things with my HTPC.

RE: [RELEASE] SABnzbd - dr99 - 2013-02-28

I agree. It was a pain to pause Sabnzbd to watch online videos and then remember to restart the download. Thanks Popeye.

Great! The next release will have a setting for https support.

RE: [RELEASE] SABnzbd - T800 - 2013-03-01

I noticed last night that if I play a recording from PVR Live TV it also pauses SAB. Can this be changed?

Probably. What url are xbmc playing with the PVR stream? Look in your log file to see what path/url xbmc is trying to play.

EDIT: Looks like you always access a http/https url to the pvr backend. What I can do is create a setting where you can define a filter (regexp) for what to consider as local content. In this case you would enter the ip adress / host name of you pvr machine....

How about adding a field were you can input path ignore words like i have done in service.autosubs?

Yes, just what I wrote but in another form. A regexp gives you a higher degree of freedom imho. In the simplest formit could just be 'myserver|nas'... Still, thanks for your answer and code link.

RE: [RELEASE] SABnzbd - jamesk9 - 2013-03-05

I get an error also.. 'script failed' when trying to execute the program.. Would love to get this working (especially the pause/throttle feature of the service add-on) since im on a semi-slow connection.

Anyways, looks to be a great plugin.. Thanks for taking the time and for sharing it with us!

My specs are
Openelec 2.99 (frodo) Hybrid skin
AMD A-6 8g ram
Being served by my unRaid beast Smile

Ive triple checked the API key, and entered both the url for the unraid server 192.168.1.103 and the name \\tower in the config page for the add-on, just to see. neither worked

heres my pastebin log

Thanks!

RE: [RELEASE] SABnzbd - Popeye - 2013-03-05

Unknown Paste ID...

You should use the same ip and port as you use when accessing sabnzbd with your browser. No https and no spaces in the api key?

RE: [RELEASE] SABnzbd - jamesk9 - 2013-03-05

Will try again.. if that doesn't work, ill get a readable pastebin up.
Thanks!

new pastbin

http://pastebin.com/jSGmrEQw

hmm.. I had to enter a captha to see the pastbin.

Also tried 127.0.0.1 and 0.0.0.0
I have to run but will try to read up when I get back.

FWIW I cant access my Sab GUI via any IP from within my home network.. I can only get to it through tower:9080. So my problem ls likely on the sab end, or so it seems?

RE: [RELEASE] SABnzbd - Popeye - 2013-03-06

In you debug log you don't even start the addon so that one is completely meaning less (and maybe full of your private stuff). 127.0.0.1 and 0.0.0.0 are addresses of the machine you are currently using so that wont help unless you run xbmc and sab on the same machine. When you state tower:9080 you are referring to a address named "tower"? Use that name in xbmc or figure out what ip adress it's resolved to....

I'm going to guess your running SAB on an Unraid box the default name tower. Regardless though, within the LAN you should use the IP address of the SAB server in question and not the NetBios name. You'll have better luck that way.

RE: [RELEASE] SABnzbd - Bydgoszcz - 2013-03-10

Hey Popeye, I'm having the same issue with starting up Sabnzbd under Xbmcbuntu v12

Error

Looks pretty good, but I'm also getting the error about the script failing. The relevant log bits are:
