Found the solution by going into the skin details and looking at the file path of the skin to see where it's looking. Indeed it was in the userdata folder! All sorted now and looking nice and grey! - jpf55 - 2011-06-11 Hooblue Wrote:Thanks ronie. I'm on W7. Sorry, I did no see your message till now, I was in the hospital for the past week. Let me know if you find new colored icons that were not part of colortheme v3. - dondre - 2011-06-13 hello jpf, i really enjoy your color scheme, i found that there is a small glitch with the highlight color on; - the home screen last added movies ant tv show - the weather hidden word grid (it is ...) you just cant see the highlight because its the same color or too close perrhaps you could let me know where to modify those particular color codes (with eg red) big thanks! - jpf55 - 2011-06-13 dondre Wrote:hello jpf, i really enjoy your color scheme, Hi, could you post a picture of what you are talking about and also, which version on T! and XBMC are you using. There is no highlight on NEW movies and TVshows, if you scroll through these, the fanart and poster changes accordingly, I thought that was sufficient biut maybe you are talking about something else. As for the weather, I just don't know what you are talking about. - dondre - 2011-06-13 hello thanks for fast answer, yee, you are right the image changes in the las added items and i would like to add a red text highlight (like the power off button in fact) As for the weather this is what im talking about thanks Oh and I run latest xbmc nightly with svn t! (dont mind my signature gotta update someday) - jpf55 - 2011-06-13 I lioke your backgrounds Mine is setup this way: When in the home screen, it is my standard movie background but if I go right twice, I get the fanart of the selected movie. By the way, it is interesting that you would have "La guerre du feu", I actually worked on that movie for a couple of days. Do you want the word NEW in red or the movie or TVseries title? As for Qlock, I remember looking into it and I believe the font color is controlled by the script, not the skin I will look into both issues - dondre - 2011-06-13 jpf55 Wrote:I lioke your backgrounds yes la guerre du feu is a great movie! sharing is caring i find that those backgrounds blend well with grayed transparency for the weather im sure it has to do with the color theme because if i switch back to the original color it works well (visible text), as for the recently added script i would like to highlight in red the movie or episode title when hover, the same behavior than the original color theme where it is blue, thanks m8 cheers - dondre - 2011-06-13 oh and btw how did you add a static upper left weather icon? i like it - jpf55 - 2011-06-14 Add this line to grey.xml which is located in skin.transparency > colors <color name="red">FFFF1313</color> For Qlock: in Includes.xml, change all instances of darkblue to red For RecentlyAdded, open the Includes_Home.xml Depending on your svn and whether you have made other changes, the line numbers from 3.11.5 may not be accurate for you but look for blue and lightblue in the focusedlayout sections of: RecentlyAddedMovies: at line 1297, change blue to red at line 1325, change lightblue to red RecentlyAddedTVshows: at line 1518, change blue to red at line 1546, change lightblue to red Obviously, you will have to make these changes every time Includes_Home.xml is updated. The weather icon is not mine, ronie added checkboxes in Settings > Skin Settings > Icons: Home - Weather icon Home - Animated Weather icons Thanks for sharing the backgrounds, on a funny note, whoever took the PhilippsHomeTheater picture, the one with the wine glass on the film cans, isn't much of a wine lover, there is no way in hell anyone can grab that glass from that angle whithout knocking it over with their elbow. - dondre - 2011-06-14 brilliant, allworks as I wanted thanks again btw any idea how to remove Qlock? after all I find it useless. - jpf55 - 2011-06-14 dondre Wrote:brilliant, allworks as I wantedSettings > Skin Settings > Scripts > Enable Qlock - jpf55 - 2011-06-14 Hi ronie, As you know, I am not a coder but can you tell me if there would have been a simpler way to do the changes that "dondre" wanted? - ronie - 2011-06-14 jpf55 Wrote:Hi ronie, nope, there's no other way. :-) - dondre - 2011-06-20 hello, thanks again jpf55, I feel dumb about asking you how to disable qLock but I searched for that option everywhere but where you pointed me to, anyhow thanks a lot again for your time and kindness on helping others out, much appreciated! ronie: I wanted to congratulate you one more time for your achievement with Transparency it's my single exclusive skin since version 2.x and the actual SVN is pure genius, hip hip hip hooray to you and all contributors cheers! - argh! - 2011-09-07 Very nice job on the Gray color scheme. THanks! I find some things a little easier to spot and notice than the default blue. |
