I actually like the idea of side buttons, since the other widgets can show them - But not working from my own PC is a bit difficult & only doing small bits of code & bugfixes

Although probably it wont affect me too much as I mainly use List and Media Info 3 views for speed of navigation on lower powered devices (I find most Thumb or Banner views seem to result in crashes with large Movie or TV Libraries).

Yes you can but it remembers the actual physical location and doesn't use special://
This is fine unless you want to copy setttings over to another machine so for example if I browse to the userdata/whufclee_art directory it will actually save the path as:
C:\Users\Lee\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\userdata\whufclee_art...
What I needed was:
special://profile/whufclee_art...
Hope that makes sense. By the way I'm loving this build, I really can't fault it at all.

Fair enough, I actually prefer simpler views with not too much info like the Coverflow view, also I prefer all views to have a theme eg all in panels, name across the top etc.
But to really be honest my machine stays on plain old list - it's the fastest.
What it'll come down to is - if people like what's there it'll probably stay. If someone suggests a change & no one pops up to object it may change if I've got no issues with it. You can't get unfairer than that

Yes that will work, but I think a new view will work much better. For movies, the current Fanart view is good; I want Logos or ClearArt only for TV Shows. So, I'm not sure, but a toggle option on Fanart view will affect both, movies and shows?!

Can do it so it is only an option for TVShows & movies will stay as is. Only after fooling around with this Mod I find that I prefer not to have too many different views but to have options in individual views on how they should look.
BTW I think my vote is for ClearArt, haven't started this yet so other opinions will be considered.

You'll have to put the file in a place you can reach from Get Addons --> install from zip. Select it from there & it'll install the repo files

hi, loving the skin but after the latest update with the on screen volume buttons, if I choose to hide them because I use passthrough audio it's no longer possible to go right to subtitles buttons etc over where the volume would have been, has anyone found this?

yes, its a known bug, and its on the list at the top of this page
EDIT: and as a temporary work around you can arrow left and wrap around to the subtitle buttons (or, just keep the volume buttons enabled until the next update)
