Thanks for all your hard work.

Odd on my end only PlutoTV's "Information" channels all start with "0". This is how the API delivers them. Can you upload a link to the m3u that was generated... So I can better understand the channels affected. Thanks.
Yep

Pasted to here - https://pastebin.com/nacNz5Kj

It's the first 29 channels at the start that are all showing tvg-chno="0" tvg-id="0@pluto.TV" from 30 onwards they are normal and show up fine, the xml also does the same so  each one has <channel id="0@pluto.TV">

I can provide mediafire links to the actual files just didn't know if I can post them here, the xml is too big to paste without pro apparently lol.

Thanks

In spain, as Guest, I can see "OnDemand" tv but Live is broken.

Edit: Ok, i read the last pages and see more people with this problem and a beta. But at this moment I can't install the beta version because "module.python version 3" is not satisfied, so I supose that this goes to Kodi 19

Hi everyone, I expect this being the right place to post my question.
I've been trying to add the plutotv add-on to my kodi with no success. Here some details:

- Platform: Ubuntu 18
- Kodi installed as per https://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_Kodi_for_Linux#Installing_Kodi_on_Ubuntu-based_distributions
(I used ppa:team-xbmc/ppa repository). My current version is 18.9.0 (compiled 2020-10-24)
- Afterwards added the ppa:team-xbmc/xbmc-nightly and followed the instructions at https://kodi.wiki/view/Ubuntu_PVR_add-ons to install kodi-pvr-plutotv
(package kodi-pvr-plutotv is not available in release or beta repositories)

In Kodi UI the add-on simply does not appear listed in my add-ons! so here is where I'm stuck.

I have also tried to add the pluto-tv addon from kodi itself: 'Add-ons > Install from repository > video add-ons' but this seems to be a windows-only plugin (instalation fails because dependency script.module.win_inet_pton is targetted at Windows)

Any hints of what I can do?

Also if I ever make kodi-pvr-plutotv work, is it worth? because I notice that its version is 0.0.2 (last built 2020-06-13) so it is kind of alpha.

See https://launchpad.net/~team-xbmc/+archive/ubuntu/xbmc-nightly/+index?batch=75&start=790

Thanks for the help. I'm very new to Kodi so please bear with me

RE: Pluto.TV - Lunatixz - 2020-12-25

PlutoTV plugin support was moved to Matrix only, I won't be supporting v.18 THX.

As for the PVR backend, it's broken! I'm not sure the original author plans to maintain it.

Is this why it has disappeared from the repository? Can't find it. I am not familiar with "Matrix", is it a repo or a developer? I've never needed much streaming service, but pluto was my favorite, you did a good job!

Matrix is the latest beta Kodi branch. You can learn more from the announcement here: https://kodi.tv/article/kodi-19x-matrix-beta-2 but be warned, beta software can be unstable, buggy, and may not be suitable for your daily use system

My "daily use" included pluto tv on as background noise while working, I run it on a raspberry pi at work and had to do a reinstall on a dual boot sd card. Went to install it again and it was gone.

The author of the add-on stated that due a lack of time he will no longer maintain it. In its current state the add-on does not even compile, thus no version available to install.

You are thinking of pvr.plutotv... this project is very much still being maintained 🤗

Pluto TV was moved to the matrix branch and won't be maintained on Leia.

For full features like PVR simple integration, PseudoTV Live integration, general m3u/xmltv generation for any non Kodi usage and full VOD use matrix build in my repository.

RE: Pluto.TV - jctennis - 2021-01-29

Absolutely loving Pluto TV integration in Pseudotv Live. I don't know why, but I've been really nostalgic for the old American Gladiators that it is playing. I used to watch that show every day after school as a kid.

RE: Pluto.TV - weaverdr - 2021-03-01

Having a problem with Pluto.TV version 1.5.3. This version appears in the Kodi add-on repository 3.25 and the Lunatixz beta repository 1.0.9. When playing a Newsmax live stream, not the prerecorded material at night and on weekends, the sound after a short while will stutter, the picture will race ahead, sometimes it will crash Kodi back to windows. I found another version, Pluto TV, by SlyGuy in his repository version 0.3.5. It doesn't display this behavior. Also, going to the Pluto website with a browser under windows doesn't have these issues. I uploaded a log of 1.5.3 at https://paste.kodi.tv/razezameto and a log of 0.3.5 at https://paste.kodi.tv/cozowuyini.
Thanks
