I am also having scraping problems. No matter what the film is, I get an unable to connect to remote server error whenver I try to scrape content. Any advice?

Hi, the scraper is having some problems finding a few movies. Here's one example: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0490305/

I wonder if there is not again a problem when retrieving genre (using IMDB or TMDB in the Universal Movie Scraper settings)
"Genre" are empty since 2 days.
Only me ?
TMDB addon is retrieving the info.

Patched my XML's from 2.7.0 to 2.7.1 from Sourceforge. Genre is now working for IMDB. Thanks olympia!

Oh, so shorts were excluded, that explains it. It works now anyway, thanks!
Here's another feature request: It would be nice with the option to fetch original title from TheMovieDb, just as it can be set from IMDb.

I'm on the latest version 12 release of XBMC (OSX) and version 2.1.9 of Universal Scraper, and like a few others reported, I get the "Unable to connect to remote server" error when scanning for new movies. Is this something that is going wrong on my end? Of not, could somebody kindly point me in the right direction for solving this error?

a further question, and apologies if it is a stupid one: somehow the plugin is not in my browser in xbmc (xbmc.org addons > movie information), is it possible to link to a .zip somewhere? i've searched elsewhere and come up empty! thanks for all of the great development; i'm looking forward to having a working scraper again!

ATV2-XMBC Frodo release...my Universal Scraper 2.1.9) is stuck "Scanning for new content" . How to fix or uninstall? Uninstall is greyed out. I assume this is because it's stuck.

Issues with Eden (always add a nfo file with link to imdb.com in it within movie folder before scraping):
Scraper is set to get title from IMDb in german language, but most of the time the english title is set and the german one is set as original title. Seems this is swapped. Also genre is missing completely. This did not happen the last months, so i guess both issues came up with imdb site changes.
Feature request: Its very nice to have the option to set outline to "none", would love to have that option for tagline as well

can universal movie scrapper make an additional statement in mpaa rating not just write Rated "R", for example like this :
Title : The Man with the Iron Fists
MPAA rating : Rated R for bloody violence, strong sexuality, language and brief drug use
