If you select the default home layout, the option to pick the number of main menu items is enabled. Pick either 3 or 5 and then back out to the main menu and you'll see the changes.I have the same problem on two different systems. I just tried uninstalling Mimic skin, exiting and restarting Kodi, reinstalling Mimic from Kodi repository and still got exactly the same problem. Mimic is v2.2.1 and Kodi is v15.0 Git:20150721-2f34a0c. Very strange that its happened to me on two different computers. I see that it happens anywhere in the settings where the item being adjust is not a simple button for on/off. I will try uninstalling and reinstalling Kodi completely on one system and see if that fixes it. EDIT: uninstalled Kodi completely and downloaded (v15.1) and installed. Added Mimic skin from Kodi repository and now all the menu options are showing correctly. I will try upgrading the other system to Kodi v15.1 without uninstalling and see if that fixes it. RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - braz - 2015-08-22 Try updating Kodi to 15.1. Since it used to work ok I am guessing that the Mimic addon must have automatically updated itself since I originally installed Kodi v15.0 but core Kodi hasn't upgraded to v15.1 which led to me having the incompatible combination of versions. Thx for your help.(2015-08-22, 07:20)toii Wrote: EDIT: uninstalled Kodi completely and downloaded (v15.1) and installed. I have the same issue with no visible options on the number of items for the homescreen... It does toggle, but I have no idea what I've just set it to untill I check on the homescreen. At the same time I have issues with not seeing text input in the input dialogs (onscreen keyboard). I know the solution (probably) is to upgrade Kodi to version 15.1 Unfortunately 15.1 is not yet available with OpenELEC. Don't know why I received the update in the first place... RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - braz - 2015-08-22 (2015-08-22, 17:57)rvdgeer Wrote:Mimic 2.2.1 includes some new features regarding text color that are only possible with Kodi 15.1. That's why I waited until 15.1 was released before I submitted to the repo. If you have addons set to auto update, you automatically got the skin update. Didn't realize OpenELEC doesn't get updates right away, sorry. In the meantime, you can set Kodi to manually update addons and then download the previous Mimic version from github.(2015-08-22, 07:42)braz Wrote:(2015-08-22, 07:20)toii Wrote: EDIT: uninstalled Kodi completely and downloaded (v15.1) and installed. This menu is available on the InfoWall, ShowCase, and BannerInfo views and allows you to choose the artwork to display in the info panel. Extra fanart requires script.toolbox. RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - zukove - 2015-08-23 Hi braz, Is it possible to have in the OSD the remaining time of the video? I didn't see an option to show the remaining time. Thanks. I just always subtract the current time from end time in my head. I just always subtract the current time from end time in my head. Yeah, I do too... but remaining time, in my opinion is better than the time when it will end. Implementation idea - tweakble option in the skin settings - either show the video length (on the right) or show remaining time instead in the same location. This type of implementation will both won't clutter the OSD further and will give the user the option to choose and also will still leave the current time/time the video ends in the middle of the OSD. What say you? RE: Mimic 2.x for Isengard - smiffy1989 - 2015-08-24 Just updated to 15.1 and 2.2.1, has the option for fixed lists been removed? It used to be a skin setting that affected the main menu and views? Showcase view has an option to wrap and their is a global setting to choose fixed/wrap for the home widgets. Doesn't seem to be on the left slide out menu (not sure what the proper name is!)? Also 3 item main menu with no wrap is what I always used |
