RE: Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 (2020 build) - fandangos - 2021-03-02 Oh my bad. Sorry for giving you false hopes. No worries RE: Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 (2020 build) - MagNeato - 2021-03-03 How do I get ffdshow (or AVISynth) working with this build? I'm trying to update my Smooth Video Project (SVP) setup. I tried adding 'ffdshow raw video filter' as an extra filter (after all the LAV filters), but I keep getting the below errors. Videos play even with the ffdshow error.
Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 (2020 build) - lennie paz - 2021-03-07 I've been having a weird issue lately, with Kodi 17.7 and MadVR. Every few days, I'll play a movie, and my render times will start jumping up into the 300s. On a normal day, the render times are around 35. The only way to fix it, is to restart Kodi, and it works fine, for a few days. Does anyone know what could be going on? RE: Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 (2020 build) - Catmorry - 2021-03-22 Wonder if anyone can help when try to play mkv file with dsplayer picture displays on only 2 thirds of screen but plays fine with native player Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 (2020 build) - lennie paz - 2021-03-27 I was just watching Return of the Jedi, and when Jabba the Hutt is talking, and the subtitles are below, they are half cut off at the bottom of the screen. How can I get them higher up, so I can see all of them? RE: Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 (2020 build) - littlegandhi1199 - 2021-04-09 Thanks for the updates. I tried this out to get the newer version of LAV Filters which were supposed to fix DTS-X Streaming. Still with Tenant 4k they did not. Though while I was in the neighborhood I noticed your pixel ratio adjustment isn't working properly. Perhaps black border detection only. I'm not sure but it wasn't letting me squish the screen. FYI @axbmcuser RE: Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 (2020 build) - hentai23 - 2021-04-12 yeah its a current bug with the pixel ratio thing in latest 2 update releases, gotta have to downgrade to 17.6, also has messed up sub display placement as already reported, also would love to be able to play bdmvs, m2ts ,mpls and vobs , would appreciate the help since i am yet to manage to make them play with dsplayer RE: Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 (2020 build) - spaceme0w - 2021-04-27 Is it possible to use skins with this build? When i try to use Unity skin I get errors about python versions etc, I tried installing an older version of Unity skin and I had the same issue. RE: Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 (2020 build) - Shogunreaper - 2021-05-29 having a problem trying to get stretching to work. i want to view an old 4:3 anime in 16:9 by stretching but it doesn't seem to change the picture at all. worked fine on the 17.6 dsplayer build and i compared the madvr settings but didn't find any differences. its definitly something to do with this dsplayer build as when playing with the default kodi renderer it will change it fine. RE: Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 (2020 build) - robl45 - 2021-05-29 Doesn't work. I can adjust 2.35 to 169 with pixel ratio. RE: Kodi 17.7 DSPlayer x64 (2020 build) - MagNeato - 2021-05-31 In case someone had as much trouble as I did trying to get SVP (SmoothVideo Project) functionality working, here is what worked for me. -Download and install KODI 17.7 DSPlayer x64 BETTERGUI007 -Download and install FFDShow. I'm using "ffdshow x64 v1.3.4533" -Download External Filters Bundle (LAV Filters x64, XySubFilter x64, AC3Filter x64) - (DirectShowFilters_x64.zip) Install: -Create a folder named C:\DirectShowFilters_x64\ and extract the 4 folders from inside zip file right in this created folder. (The important bit is to NOT copy them to to c:\Program Files.. folder. I use a C:\Program Files (Custom)\ folder for my manually-installed apps) -Right-click each of the three RunAsAdmin - Install.bat files and 'Run as Administator'. Better yet, open a Command Prompt as Admin, and run each of them to make sure no errors are returned. The most important steps are in the 'BETTERGUI006' update description and are listed as 'New features', which is what tripped me up. I'll summarize here: Enable DSPlayer: You can use "! Helper: Create example player rule" to create an example player rule which is a good starting point (read help texts) Settings -> Player -> DSPlayer -> Activate DSPlayer: Rules management -> ! Helper: Create example player rule Note: Read the full update if you use LiveTV to avoid breaking that (I don't use it). Note: I'm using the 'madshi Video Renderer (madVR)'; I can't remember if this is the default. Create default Filters rule: "This helper creates an example media rule for initial configuration (using external LAVFilters+XySubFilter) which you can then find under "Media rules [Editor]". Settings -> Player -> DSPlayer -> Filters -> Filters management -> Media rules and Filters configuration -> ! Helper: Create example media rule Once the default rule is in place, to enable SVP (SmoothVideo Project), modify the default filter rule. "Settings -> Player -> DSPlayer -> Filters -> Media Rules [Editor] -> Rule: (External) LAVFilters.. -> Video Filter" and choose 'ffdshow raw video filter (ffdshowrawfilter)' Profit, I mean, check that SVP is working.
