I cannot read everything on the screen, so what should I select here?:
"l the latest beta verion (5.95.1)?
the latest stable verion (5.0.8) will be used. (y/N)"
I have been selecting yes. Should I select no??
UPDATE:
I selected no and can read on the bottom line generic.x86_64-5.0.8
Bet this was the problem, I will report back.

Whenever I turn on the Chromebox whenever it is connected to the TV it comes up on a resolution that doesn't work (a black screen that says nothing is connected). So in order to get the tv to work I must then connect it to the computer monitor, set the resolution to 800x600, then connect it to the TV and then set it to 1920x1080. I'm just wondering if I am doing something wrong or if there is some setting causing it to do this.

Thanks Matt. I can use wireless lan and not reboot until then.

Hello, just downloaded k ubuntu dual boot set up on my chromebox, but upon initial boot I am getting
-bash: cannot create temp file for here-document: Read-only file system
I have no idea what's going on and am new to this whole thing. Is there any way to work around this? I set up ubuntu with the max recommended partition (9GB). Please help!

So upon booting, am given a choice of ubuntu, advanced options for ubuntu, memory test, and memory test with a console #. When I choose ubuntu, after logging in as user I get -bash: cannot create temp file for here-document: Read-only file system. Should I reload chrome and start over? I don't know how to avoid this in the future because I didn't deviate from the instructions whatsoever. The initial install worked fine (I assume).
