- pecinko - 2010-10-04 Hi devs, I wondered if option to auto resize posters to 1080 hight could be implemented? - hell_spawn27 - 2010-10-07 hi i have a problem, ember generates the .actor folder and downloads the actor thumbs when I scrape a single movie at a time, however when I scrape a bunch of movies, it does not download them...can someone help - ubuntuf4n - 2010-10-07 Scraping is partially not working...(at the time of writing) Actor data and Ratings are not scraped by the EMM-Engine. Till Yesterday everything was fine. I am using OFDB & IMDB for scraping the info (EMM build 2385). Not sure if the scraping-method changed for IMDB or OFDB. Would be nice, if this could get fixed. Greetz Ubuntuf4n - JustinAiken - 2010-10-07 IMDB is working for me right now, same build... - Spaggi - 2010-10-07 ubuntuf4n Wrote:Scraping is partially not working...(at the time of writing) Same is happening here - tungmeister - 2010-10-07 I've also got the same issue - t00fan - 2010-10-07 Same here as well. edit: might have something to do with the imdb.com redesign? - Jeff Flowerday - 2010-10-08 + 1, same issue, not scraping any details. - frieten - 2010-10-08 grumbler Wrote:I created already an issue for this 6 weeks ago: +1 to this, i use ember for everything so this would make things awesome. - olympia - 2010-10-08 ubuntuf4n Wrote:Scraping is partially not working...(at the time of writing) Spaggi Wrote:Same is happening here tungmeister Wrote:I've also got the same issue t00fan Wrote:Same here as well. Jeff Flowerday Wrote:+ 1, same issue, not scraping any details. As a workaround, you can turn on FullCast in scraper settings (then maybe limit the number of actors at the same place to prevent huge number of actors ensing up in your database) Ember media manager + libraries - Lafaso870 - 2010-10-08 I'm kinda new on xbmc, i used to play a little with media brower but due to the heavy engine of that thing i came to xbmc (on PC), and i'm using Ember Media Manager to update my movies/tv shows info for proper xbmc recognizing. But even if i update a movie (for exemple) in Ember the xbmc are not updantig the info on Movies section. I have tried to mantain the Automatic Update Libraries option turned on e off and tried to Update Libraries manualy buts movies just keep the same. Even if i delete and movie for my hard drive xbmc keep showing it on the library. Am i missing something. In time, its Ember the best Metadata retreiver for xbmc (Except for metabrower 2.0 that is paid)? - Smenus - 2010-10-08 olympia Wrote:As a workaround, you can turn on FullCast in scraper settings (then maybe limit the number of actors at the same place to prevent huge number of actors ensing up in your database) Hi olympia, I've got the same issue; almost nothing is being scraped properly. I've attached screenshots of the scraping process, which usually have a lot more data. I have tried turning on Full Cast scraping, with no effect. I've also made sure that the search is getting the correct result by also using the manual imdb id entry thingy, with the same results. Search results dialog: Movie info dialog: Any idea what the problem is? - olympia - 2010-10-08 The problem is simple: imdb.com changed its layout, but it didn't get adapted in EMM. But again: "Scrape Full Cast" should act as a workaround Settings/Movies/Scrapers - Data/Miscellaneous/Scrape Full Cast ...you will not see any details, nor the poster in the search results window, but the data should be scraped at the end. - ubuntuf4n - 2010-10-08 olympia, thanks for the info . btw, are we going to see fix for this new layout , or is full actor scaping-option the only way to do that ? - myrison - 2010-10-08 I can confirm the workaround works fine for me. You can also limit cast scraping to only those with pictures after you turn on 'scrape full cast' which keeps the number manageable and still gets you all of the movie details. Thanks Olympia! |
